Designer Creates Steve Jobs Statue for Apple's New Headquarters





A well-known sculptor named Dragan Radenovic has created a scaled down model of Steve Jobs statue, which is expected to be installed somewhere in Apple’s new campus, Netokracija reports. A two-step ID verification is now available in Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Italy and Spain.

The new verification is a n optional feature which boosts security of you Apple ID.  In order to verify your identify it is essential first to proove it using one of your devices. Then you will be able to sign in to My Apple ID and manage your account, "make an iTunes, App Store, or iBooks Store purchase from a new device, and get Apple ID-related support from Apple."

Apple Sells 1.6 Million iPhones in Russia during 2013 - Estimates

Flextronics assembles Macs in Texas



Bloomnerg reports that Apple has listed Flextronics International Ltd. in the Supplier Responsibility Report. The company has been an assembler of Mac computers since last year.

Flextronics assembled Macs in Austin, Texas, last year, Apple said in its annual supplier report published yesterday. Foxconn Technology Group remains the largest manufacturer of Apple products, with seven assembly locations in China and Brazil, according to the list published on Apple’s website.

iOS and Android Dominate on World Smartphone Market



According to the latest estimates, iOS and Android accounted for as many as 95.7% of all smartphone shipments in Q4 2013. And this is a substantial increase, I believe, because in 2012 the two platforms had 91.2% share. 17.6% of shipments went to iOS and 78.1% - to Android.

All those who ordered a redesigned Mac Pro, won’t receive it until April. The company from Cupertino has changed the shipping estimates for its new desktop for the second time in two months. Not only in the USA, but in the entire world. This means Apple hasn’t yet produced enough computers to deliver them to customers in March, as was expected earlier.

Apple Launched iTunes Radio in Australia



The company from Cupertino has just launched iTunes Radio in Australia.
