Apple Files a Patent for a System that Allows to Control Access to Content
Apple filed another patent. This time it’s a system that allows to control access to content using a person's physical features. The patent application entitled “Systems and methods for controlling output of content based on human recognition data detection” was on the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s website on Thursday.

Mac Pro to Become Available in December, Starting at $2,999
Announced yesterday, Apple's new cylindrical Mac Pro will hit store shelves no sooner than in December. As to the price, it is said to start at $2,999. Pretty expensive, I agree, but believe me, the new desktop is worth its money.
As to the tech specs, the revamped Mac Pro (base model) features a 3.7GHz Intel Xeon E5 processor, 12GB of RAM, dual FirePro D300 GPUs with 2GB of video RAM each and 256GB of SSD. Moreover, the new Mac Pro now can support up to three 4K displays at once.
As you see, the new device is incredibly fast. That is why it would be a perfect choice for all those who have to work with graphics, music or video.

AppleCare staff is currently being trained on OS X Mavericks. As it has been announced earlier, the official release of the new OS X version will take place this fall, presumably on October 22nd, along with the new iPad launch.

Apple has finally sent out the invitations for the media event devoted to the iPad 5. As it has been previously rumored, the new tablet will be unveiled on Tuesday, October 22nd at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco. The media event will start at 10 a.m Pacific Time.

Apple Patents a New SIM Card Tray Design
The United States Patent and Trademark office has recently granted Apple’s rights for the patent called “Systems and methods for ejecting removable modules from electronic devices". Or, in other words - for a new SIM card tray design. According to the Apple’s application, such a design will allow to retain and eject the SIM card using magnetic means instead of mechanical that are said to be inconvenient.
Qualcomm Backs Away From Negative Comments on Apple A7
Qualcomm spokesman has backed away from the statements made by one of the company executives concerning the Apple A7 chip capabilities. In case you missed that piece of news, Anand Chandrasekher, Qualcomm CMO has recently claimed that the new Apple’s processor is a "marketing gimmick".

The comments made by Anand Chandrasekher, Qualcomm CMO, about 64-bit computing were inaccurate. The mobile hardware and software ecosystem is already moving in the direction of 64-bit; and, the evolution to 64-bit brings desktop class capabilities and user experiences to mobile, as well as enabling mobile processors and software to run new classes of computing devices.
Looks like Qualcomm executives should think twice before they blame someone for something, otherwise, they can as well be blamed - for incompetence.
The New iPhone 5s is the Top Selling Device in the U.S. Market
According to the latest Canaccord report, Apple’s iPhone 5s is the top smartphone sold at all U.S. carriers. The plastic iPhone 5c comes in the second or third place, depending on a particular carrier.
