Apple Rumored to Be Testing New 'Touch on Display' Technology for Next iPhone
Chinese sources claim that Apple is testing a new display technology, dubbed "touch-on," for use in its next iPhone model to address issues with the current "in-cell" display found in the iPhone 5.
Apple has reportedly contracted with Chimei Innolux, Taiwan's largest LCD maker, for the next-generation panels, according to The China Times (via AppAdvice). Apple's interest has reportedly been prompted by alleged "interference problems" with the recently released iPhone 5.

Next-Generation iPhone to Launch in More Colors
Analyst Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets said in a note to investors Wednesday that his checks within the industry have indicated the so-called "iPhone 5S" will come in a variety of colors beyond the current black and white. He expects that the next iPhone will be available in a total of eight colors: the pink, yellow, blue, green, purple, silver and slate shades currently found on the iPod nano, and a (Product)Red model with proceeds benefiting AIDS research.
2013 iPhone and iOS 7 Already Appearing in Developer's Logs
TheNextWeb reports that some iOS developers have already spotted references to the next-generation iPhone and iOS 7.
One developer showed us that Apple has been testing hardware relating to a new ‘iPhone6,1′ identifier, powered by a device running iOS 7, which is expected to be released by Apple in the middle part of this year.

Intel To Launch Set Top Box And Cable TV Service At CES 2013
TechCrunch that Intel is going to launch its own set-top box and virtual cable TV service in the immediate future. To avoid licensing issues, Intel has decided to launch the TV service on a city-by-city basis rather than rolling it out nationwide. The report notes:
Apple To Update MacBook Air And MacBook Pro In June 2013
DigiTimes that Apple has informed Taiwan-based suppliers that MacBook Air and MacBook Pro lines will see updates in June 2013. DigiTimes' sources also said that Apple will not make any major external design changes to MacBook Airs, but will use a "new processor platform" in the line.
Intel And Apple Are Working On Smart Watch with Bluetooth Support

Chinese site TGBus ( Techcrunch), Intel and Apple are working together on a smart watch featuring Bluetooth technology. The report notes that the watch will have a 1.5-inch OLED display produced by RiTdisplay and will be released in the first half of 2013.

“The sources said Apple is in further discussions with Sharp over IGZO panel production capacity estimates for 2013 and is also inquiring about whether AU Optronics' (AUO) L5C line could be used to produce the technology”.
Steve Jobs' "Venus" is no longer impounded
Last Friday, it was noted that the Jobs family's new yacht had been confiscated by the authorities of the Netherlands as a result of the dispute over design payment in favor of the famous French designer Philippe Starck.
