Nuance Releases ‘Voice Ads’ Platform To Bring Siri-like Functionality To Mobile Ads

Voice Ads finally creates an opportunity for brands to deepen the relationship with their consumers, with targeted interactive ads that deeply engage their core audience – much in the way that the world’s most popular mobile personal assistants have deepened consumers’ relationship with their mobile phones”.
In the video above, Nuance shows an advertisement promoting a fictional deodorant that uses a magic 8-ball to answer any questions that users may have. Other advertisements could allow users to ask questions, for example, about products specs or a release date.
Nuance said that it worked with a number of mobile advertising companies and ad agencies to create ads using the platform. Also Nuance plans to distribute the ads to hundreds of millions of consumers and more than 100,000 app publishers through partnerships with mobile advertising companies.
