Control Your iPhone Via Voice (Jailbreak Only)

A hacker named Chpwn has recently posted a video where he uses his new jailbreak-only app called VoiceActivator. It allows you to fully configure what voice commands you may give to your iPhone/iPod touch and what the device should do after it'll hear it. For example, it can open webpages, make screenshots, and, as it seen from the video above, many other actions from the long list.

Chpwn didn't mention what will be the price for the app, but we may assume it will be cheap enough (and thus not free). We can expect it to be released next week.

The built-in iOS voice control application (which can be activated if you press and hold Home button for some time) allows to dial phone numbers, ask for the time, initiate FaceTime calls and control music playback. It is also known that Apple is going to incorporate the idea of VoiceActivator in future versions of iOS. Maybe, it will be the one of the ways to refuse from using Home button.

MacBook Pros getting updated soon

new macbook pro

The updated MacBook Pros might receive Intel’s Sandy Bridge processors, internal Solid State Drives, thinner design and implemented USB 3.0 or Intel’s Light Peak.

So, the iMac lineup is due for a refresh this March.  The update will up-to-date the iMac, prepare it for Mac OS X Lion. Moreover, Apple is expected to start bringing the MacBook Air Solid State Drive (SSD) modules to the rest of the Mac family, will add the new Intel’s microarchitecture Sandy bridge to improve graphics and resolution on the 21.5" and 27" displays. This will be a minor update, with a major one expected sometime around January 2012.

White iPhone 4 issues resolved with new type of paint

whiteiphoneyay

With this new material, Apple has apparently been able to successfully manufacture white iPhone 4. Though, it remains unclear whether the white iPhone 4 is in fact on track for a spring release.
