Mjoy Removed From AppStore
Mjoy application allowed you to send free SMS messages from your iPhone and iTouch. Apple removed it from App Store, certainly because of complaints from mobile operators.
The application allowed to send SMS via WiFi and 3G, and therefore could be used wherever you were (which is quite inconvenient for the operators). Now it remains accessible to the webapp accessed through Safari www.mjoy.com, but certainly is not the same thing.

CopierciN - copy/paste for iPhone
CopierciN is a cool app that implements some copy / paste functionality. It’s in the beta stages but has potential. It lets you import and export between apps like notes, sms, email. Avaliable via Cydia Installer for 2.x firmares.
CopieriN is a basic text editor which, hopefully, bring some kind of copy/paste mechanism to iPhone (to jailbroken ones only, unfortunately). It does not add copy/paste functionality directly to other applications but it provides a mechanism to import text from and export text to SMS, Notes, Mail applications (more to come in the future) and files in the filesystem.
Usage: It basically has two parts: Text Editor and Importer/Exporter. Within the text editor, you can select a piece of text using your finger, cut or copy it, and paste it to a selected location.
Disable Apple's kill switch
You probable know, that some time ago software developers have found a line of code buried in the iPhone's operating system that could enable Apple to remotely delete applications stored on the device that it no longer approves of. This is known as "Apple's kill switch".
Now you can turn this OFF using BossPrefs 2.12b. This is a major feature in 2.12b version. Avaliable for download from Cydia Installer.

It's perfect for those of you with long fingernails or simply oversized stubby man fingers. The price is $14.99.

Unlocked IPhone 3G. How much?
There were many discussions about unlocked IPhone 3G. The first step is to buy the device without AT&T (or some other operator) subscribtion. There are rumors that without a contract IPhone will cost $600-$800 in the US. George Hotz in his blog says that the best way is to buy contract and cancel it. It will cost $200+$35+175=$410. Which is not bad at all.
As for the unlock software, I believe it will be avaliable quite soon.

This is a tutorial, that shows step by step how to install Java on the IPhone.

First of all I'd like to say we all want to use legal IPhones and operators. So everything written below is for testing purposes only . Hopefully this technology will be avaliable on all IPhones sold worldwide. You also might need to recover your IPhone, so make sure you backed up all your data. I personally did everything without any problems and needs to recover. Everything you do is your responsibility, etc...
So let's start, because it's worth it! It's just one evening and you will be able to create your personal Java application, compile and run it on the IPhone, and amaze all your friends .
