Samsung Leaks Galaxy S7 Video Ahead of Official Launch at MWC





Apple’s main rival, Samsung, has accidentally leaked the video highlighting the unreleased Galaxy S7 smartphone and a couple of its features including wireless charging, undefined level of water resistance as well as its deep integration with the Gear S2 smartwatch. The short clip entitled “Samsung Galaxy: Get Ready for #TheNextGalaxy” has been posted to Samsung’s Indonesian launch site.

Check Out This New iPhone 7 Concept [Video]



As the release of the widely-rumored iPhone 7 becomes more imminent, more rumors and concepts showing possible design of the handset appear on the Internet. Today I would like to show you the concept created by Arthur Reis that demonstrates a thin and sleek iPhone lacking traditional 3.5mm headphone jack with barely noticeable antenna bands across the back panel, wireless charging capabilities, Force Touch, and other features we expect from the device that is expected to be released this fall.

Recent Earthquake Will Impact Chip Production - TSMC



According to the latest report from people familiar with the matter, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) admits that the 6.4-magnitude earthquake that hit Taiwan and killed 116 people earlier this month may impact the production capacity and cause problems in the assembly of processors in 2016. Previously, the company was planning to restore about 95% of production capacity within 2 or 3 days, but looks like the earthquake had caused much more damage to manufacturing facilities than it was believed.

Apple Aware of Recent Date Bug, Promises to Fix It With Update



Apple has publicly acknowledged the existence of a bug that may brick the iPhone or any other iOS device when the date is set to January 1st, 1970. According to a dedicated Apple Support document released on February 15th, changing the date may prevent the device from booting on the next startup.

Apple Launches MacBook USB-C Cable Replacement Program



Apple has started a new replacement program for USB-C cables shipped with some 2015 Retina MacBooks. According to Apple, a limited number of cables are faulty and may cause troubles during charging or fail to charge the laptop. Apple offers customers to replace the faulty cables at no cost. By the end of February, Apple will ship the new cables to those customers, who have indicated their address during the registration. They can also get their replacement by visiting the nearest Apple Store.

iPhone 5SE and iPad Air 3 to Go on Sale on March 18th



According to the latest report from people familiar with the matter, Apple will start selling the iPhone 5SE as well as the new iPad Air 3 on Friday, March 18th, three days after the dedicated media event. Sources indicate that there will be no pre-orders for the devices, the company will reportedly have them all in stock for the launch. 'Motor Noises' Come from Apple’s Secret Car Testing Facility



A man from Sunnyvale, who lives near Apple’s top-secret car-testing facility has recently complained about the 'motor noises' coming from the Apple-owned buildings late at night. This looks like a good proof of the existence of the Apple-branded car prototype that is reportedly codenamed ‘Titan’.

TSMC to Become Sole A10 Processor Manufacturer



According to the latest report from ETNews, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has become a sole manufacturer of the processor for the upcoming iPhone 7 that is expected to be released this fall. The company will reportedly be using the 10-nanometer manufacturing process and this has become the main reason for Apple to choose the Taiwanese manufacturer, not Samsung.

New Vulnerability Affects Third-Party Mac Apps



As noted by a bunch of reliable news websites, a wide number of third-party Mac apps are vulnerable to man-in-the-middle attacks. The vulnerability in Sparkle, an open source framework, which is used by many developers to make the update process easier, can let hackers execute malicious JavaScript code when the infected app or apps perform checks for updates. According to security researchers, uTorrent and a ‘huge’ number of other applications that are available outside the App Store are prone to the aforementioned vulnerability.

Hackers Offer Apple Employees Thousands of Euros for Their Login Details



According to the latest report from BusinessInsider, hackers are offering Apple employees in Ireland huge sums of money for their Apple ID credentials. One of the employees, who asked not to be publicly identified revealed that he was offered thousands of euros for his Apple ID email address and password. Moreover, looks like he’s not alone.

Apple Releases OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 Beta 3 to Developers



Aside from making iOS 9.3 Beta 3 available for developers, Apple has also seeded the third pre-release OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 version. The first OS X 10.11.4 beta was released on January 11th, so the developers have been testing the operating system for nearly a month now. According to Apple, the latest beta is a minor update that contains bug fixes and a number of other enhancements.
