Today a new report appeared online that suggests that the next-generation 5.5-inch iPhone 6 will be nicknamed as the iPhone 6L. Apart from this interesting piece of information, several new images surfaced online that show us a bunch of leaked parts for Apple’s smartphone. These parts include a larger battery (I mentioned it in the previous post), a logic board and, of course, a front panel.

Several new images appeared on two different websites yesterday that show something what appears to be new batteries for the upcoming 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 models.
High-End iPhone 6 Models Will Get Sapphire Displays - WSJ
According to the latest reports from the Wall Street Journal, only high-end models of iPhone 6 will get sapphire-covered displays. The screens for other devices will be made of material that is much stronger than Gorilla Glass, but isn’t actually sapphire, sources claim. It should be noted that the reporters’ suggestions haven’t yet been confirmed, which means that all of the handsets may get displays made of protective material other than sapphire.
Apple to Show New Reversible USB Connectors This Fall?
New photos from Dianxinshouji suggest that Apple may ship its next-generation 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhones with brand new Lightning cables that feature reversible USB connectors. Looks like the guys from Cupertino managed to solve the problem with a cable, which never fits the USB slot from the first time. And that’s another reason to buy an iPhone 6 this fall.
Images Showing Genuine iPhone 6 Surface Online?
A bunch of images showing something what appears to be a genuine iPhone 6 smuggled out of Foxconn appeared on the Internet earlier today. The device shown below looks pretty much the same as the iPhone 5s, however, it can boast of several noticeable improvements that include a larger screen and a new back panel. The design of the handset goes in line with all the previous rumors and reports. Still, there is no way to check the legitimacy of the photos, so I suggest you to take them with a few pinches of salt.
Pegatron Wins Contract for Production of 25 Million iPhones This Year
According to the latest report from DigiTimes, Apple's Asian supplier Pegatron has recently won a contract for the production of 25 million 4.7-inch iPhone 6 units of the 50 million that are expected to be shipped this year.

We can also take a look at new Power and Mute buttons. The photos were shared by a firm called Feld & Volk and I must admit that they look legitimate.

Microsoft Releases New Surface Pro Ads, Mocks MacBook Air [Video]
Microsoft has recently released three new Surface Pro 3 ads. As usual, the ads mock Apple and the gadgets the guys from Cupertino create.
This time Microsoft chose Apple's MacBook Air as a victim. The company from Redmond claims its newest tablet is more efficient and portable than the laptop manufactured by Apple. Of course, Microsoft fails to mention that the sales of the Surface tablets are weak and that the company lost nearly 1.7 billion dollars since the launch of its first-gen version.
