M.I.C Gadget reports that a new lawsuit at Apple were filed by the Shanghai Animation Film Studio. Apple allegedly permitted the sale of films without the consent of the Studio. Given that Apple does not directly sell the audio or video content through the iTunes Store in China, it seems that the problem is with movies provided through third-party applications in the App Store.

Today Apple announced that the new 128GB iPad model would go on sale on February 5th with a starting price of $799 – an attractive option for those who consider purchasing Surface Pro tablet when it debut on February 9th. Microsoft today also confirmed (via Engadget) that 45GB of storage space in the new Surface Pro will be used for Windows 8 and various preloaded applications, leaving owners of the 128GB model with 83GB of free storage. In Paris, the Apple Store Opera was robbed on New Year’s Eve by four masked gunmen, according to DailyMail. The robbers made off with iPads and iPhones with total value of more than 1 million euros. An official at Unsa police union Christophe Crepin told Le Parisien newspaper:

Passbook was one of the main features added to iOS 6, enabling companies to deliver loyalty cards, gift cards, coupons, tickets and other items to a centralized digital wallet for the iPad touch and iPhone.

Although the feature is handy addition that utilizes time and location-based awareness to help you use Passbook passes when needed, it is not a true digital wallet based on hardware technologies such as field communications (NFC).

VR-Zone reports (via Engadget) about what is purported to be a list of Intel’s first "Haswell" desktop processors. The fourteen new chips are expected to launch in the spring of the next year and will build new architecture based on 22 nm process that is used in the Ivy Bridge processors.

Recently it was revealed that last month, Steve Jobs's house was robbed. The thief broke into the house, which was in disrepair and stole property valued $ 60.000, including several iMacs and iPads, Tiffany jewelry and wallet of Steve Jobs in dollar in it. The San Jose Mercury News reports that one of the stolen iPad fell into the hands of "Kenny the Clown", a local clown that performs shows for children and tourists in the Bay Area.
