A10 Chip from iPhone 7 Is 18% Faster Than A9 from iPhone 6s



According to the latest report shared by Techtastic, the A10 64-bit processor embedded to the rumored iPhone 7 may be 18% faster than the A9 CPU that powers the current iPhone 6s. The statement is based on early Geekbench 3 single-core benchmarks. The chart below shows that the new processor scored 3000 points. The score is only 10 points smaller than the result of the A9X processor found inside of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro released in 2015.

Leaked iPhone 7 Back Panel Shown in Video



Yet another leaked iPhone 7 part has recently appeared on the Internet. According to a video that was originally shared on the Chinese social network Weibo and then posted to YouTube, the upcoming smartphone will indeed lack the headphone jack. In line with previous leaks and rumors from reliable insiders, the clip reveals two speakers at the bottom for better sound quality as well as larger camera cutout for improved photo sensor.

Manufacturing Molds Show Purported iPhone 7 Colors



New image showing how the next-generation iPhone 7 may look like in Silver, Gold, Space Gray and Rose Gold has been posted on the Internet earlier today. The photo depicting the back panels in the aforementioned colors has been shared by an Apple news website macitynet.it. To be honest, the rear shells highlighted below are pretty similar to all previous leaks. They give us a look at the redesigned antenna bands and a new larger rear camera cutout. Unfortunately, from this angle we can’t see whether there is a headphone jack embedded into the parts.

Samsung vs. Apple Court Case: Samsung Continues to Struggle



Even though the court has ruled that Samsung infringed on Apple’s patents related to the design of handsets, the South Korean tech giant refused to admit its fault. As it has been announced earlier today, the Supreme Court of the United States will hear the appeal of the company later this year. With this appeal, Samsung plans to persuade the judges that the court ruling was unfair and that the company is not guilty.

According to the latest report from usually-reliable insider OnLeaks, the next-generation iPhone may be equipped with a slightly better battery. In fact, the battery capacity may rise from 1715mAh to 1960mAh. Earlier it was believed that the company may increase the capacity only slightly, from 1715mAh to 1735mAh, but today’s rumor is much more optimistic about that.

Here’s How New Lightning EarPods May Look Like [Images]



A couple of new photos have recently appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo. The images depict the rumored EarPods with a Lightning connector instead of the standard headphone jack used in the iPhone 6s and earlier models. In case you don’t know, Apple is expected to ditch the 3.5 port in favour of using the multi-purpose Lightning port in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

New iPhone 7 Plus Images Show Smart Connector, Dual Camera and New Antenna Bands



New interesting and rather controversial images have been posted online by the French website Nowhereelse.fr earlier today. The photos show the back panel from the alleged iPhone 7 Plus or Pro that features something similar to the cutouts for the Smart Connector. Apart from that, one can see an opening for the rumored dual lens camera and new antenna bands. In general, the leaked panel is similar to the iPhone 7 rear shells we have seen before, but is obviously larger. Whether the panel features a headphone jack is unknown, but possibly not.

Mac Shipments Continue to Decline - IDC Report



According to the latest report from IDC, Apple’s computer shipments decreased in the second quarter of 2015. Due to this fact, the company has fallen to the fifth place in the ranking of worldwide PC shipments. Apple’s market share is now equal to 7.1%, down from 7.4% one year ago, and the number of Macs sold to customers worldwide accounted for 4,42 million units, down from 4,82 million units in 2015. The global PC market also experienced a decline of 4.5%. The shipments were equal to 64 million units.

14.8% of iPhone Owners Plan to Upgrade to iPhone 7 [Survey]



According to the results of the recent survey conducted by a Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster, 14.8% of current iPhone owners plan to upgrade to the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus once it comes out and 29% more may do this if they find the device attractive and worth an upgrade.
