5.5-inch iPhone 6 Photo by Jimmy Lin



A photo showing the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 prototype appeared on the Internet on Wednesday. The image was shared by Jimmy Lin, a Taiwanese star and race car driver.

The device on the photo looks pretty much the same as the iPhone 5s, however, it is slightly thinner and has a larger display. Neither Apple, nor its suppliers haven’t yet confirmed the legitimacy of the photo, so I recommend you to take it with a few pinches of salt.

5.5-inch iPhone 6 Will Feature Sapphire Display, 4.7-inch iPhone and iWatch - Won't?



As you probably know, a rumor has recently appeared on the Internet suggesting that both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 models as well as iWatch will be equipped with a sapphire-covered display. According to a new rumor, the only device, which may get a new screen is Apple's 5.5-inch iPhone. The reason for such a change is manufacturing problems, Economic Daily News reports.

Foxconn to Use Sharp's Technology to Produce Displays for iPhone and iPad



According to the latest report from Taiwanese reporters, Apple's supplier Foxconn is currently in talks with Sharp. The company wants to start producing the screens for the iPhone and iPad using Sharp's technologies. This may allow Apple to become less dependent from Samsung.
