Apple today added a few minor improvements to its online store, making its easier to navigate the service on touchscreen devices such as iPad and iPhone.
Last month, comedy site Funny or Die announced the future release of the 60-75 minute film iSteve, which is scheduled on April 15. It is based on events in the life of Steve Jobs. The movie stars Justin Long, who gained notoriety among fans of Apple for playing the role of "Mac" in the popular "get a Mac" advertising campaign, in the role of Jobs.
Apple is gradually rolling out a new customer service initiative called ‘table selling’ across its retail stores. With the new strategy, employees at Apple Stores are assigned a product table at which they are responsible for serving groups of customers with the same device but different needs. Previously, employees helped each customer individually on a first-come, first-serve basis which often resulted in lengthy wait times.
According to The Wall Street Journal, patent holding company Intertrust has filed a lawsuit against Apple, alleging that Cupertino-based company infringes on 15 of its patents. Intertrust licenses and invents technologies for digital rights management and currently holds more than 150 patents.
Tom’s Hardware published results of a detailed performance test of a Core i7 Haswell processor, which suggest that it will offer 7-13% performance increase over equivalent Ivy Bridge chips – a similar increase experienced with the transition from Sandy Bridge to Ivy Bridge.

Australian Consumer Protections law requires that sellers of products provide warranties for a reasonable period of time from date of delivery until the problem becomes apparent, which has been interpreted for computers as two years. Apple offers a standard warranty for one year on all its products, while AppleCare provides coverage for three years on Macs.
Today The Sydney Morning Herald reported that Apple’s authorized resellers and retail store staff have been informed of a change in how the company handles warranty claims in Australia. The report notes:

According to Macworld UK, Apple introduced a new configuration for its 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMacs, which allows customers to select VESA adapter instead of the standard base. The 40 dollars configuration allows users to mount their iMac on the walls or other vertical surfaces, but the device should be configured at the time of purchase.
