Apple Has Already Started Production of 4-inch iPhone





According to a new report from Nikkei, the long-awaited 4-inch iPhone called the iPhone 5SE (or the iPhone 6c) is already being produced by Apple suppliers. The same report suggests that the handset will be targeted at emerging markets. Whether this means that the phone will be cheaper than other iPhones is still unknown, especially since Apple is not very good in releasing affordable phones.

Check Out This New iPhone 7 Concept Created by Sonitdac [Video]



Thousands of people around the globe are waiting for the release of the next-generation iPhone or iPhones. According to a number of reliable sources, next January we may see a 4-inch iPhone 6c featuring a 4-inch display, Apple’s A9 processor, Touch ID fingerprint sensor, NFC and a colorful metal body. Apart from that, later in 2016, the Cupertino-based tech giant will unveil the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhones, which will get the support of 3D Touch display as well as a number of other new features.

20% of US Customers Prefer 4-inch Smartphones - Survey



According to the latest report from a research firm Piper Jaffray, 20% of customers in the United States of America prefer a 4-inch smartphone form factor. Ming-Chi Kuo Confirms Rumors About Early-2016 Launch of New 4-inch iPhone



KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has recently confirmed earlier reports from other reliable insiders and claimed Apple is planning to release a 4-inch iPhone similar to the iPhone 5s in terms of design in early 2016. Unlike other sources, however, Kuo believes the new handset will be equipped with an efficient A9 processor manufactured by Samsung and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), not the A8X chip. Other details about the upcoming gadget include NFC, metal body with at least two or three color options, same camera as in the iPhone 5s and a price tag of $400-500.

Apple’s main rival, Samsung, has recently announced the Samsung Gear S2, a smartwatch with a round display. This Apple Watch rival comes in three versions, namely, Classic, standard, and 3G. Apple Asks A9 Chip Suppliers for Price Cuts - DigiTimes



According to the latest report from DigiTimes, Apple has recently asked Samsung and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company to reduce the prices for A9 chips. Next-Gen iPhone Market Share Can See Zero or Negative Growth in Q4 2015 - KGI



According to the latest rumors shared by people familiar with the matter, even though the next-generation iPhone will boast of a more efficient processor, 12-megapixel camera, updated NFC and LTE chips, 2GB or RAM, and a number of other noticeable improvements, its market share may see zero or negative growth in the fourth quarter of this year.
