Apple to Replace Touch ID with Face Scanner



According to the latest report from Bloomberg, Apple is testing facial recognition technology that should replace the Touch ID fingerprint scanner in future iPhone models.The new biometric authentication system will be based on new 3D and eye scanners. People familiar with the matter claim it will be more secure and reliable than fingerprint recognition.

iOS 11 Beta and iOS 10.3.2 Beta Can Be Jailbroken [Images]



KeenLab researchers have recently jailbroken both iOS 11 beta and iOS 10.3.2. The images proving this fact were shown at the MOSEC security conference and shared by the Alibaba security engineer. Apple hasn’t patched all the vulnerabilities that can be used to hack iPhones and iPads.

Hackers Bypass Galaxy S8 Iris Recognition Using Printed Photo



German hackers from Chaos Computer Club tricked the iris scanner on the Galaxy S8. They managed to unlock the phone with the help of a printed photo and a contact lens, which means almost anyone can bypass Samsung’s security system and get access to the phone and sensitive data stored on it.
