iPhone 6 Beaten by Galaxy S6 and LG G4 in Performance Tests





According to a recent performance test conducted by Tom's Guide reporters, Apple’s iPhone 6 is no longer world’s fastest smartphone. As proved by the results shown in the chart below, the device manufactured by the guys from Cupertino managed to get only the third place. The first and the second spots are occupied by Samsung Galaxy S6 and LG G4.

Software developer Nick Lee has recently shared a new interesting video showing Macintosh OS 7.5.5 running on the recently-released Apple Watch. The video, which is available below, demonstrates how many things have changed in the computer industry over the last twenty years. In case you don’t know, the version of Apple’s operating system for Macs running on the wearable device was originally released on September 27, 1996. Quite an old build, I must admit.

New Vulnerability Found That Allows to Steal Any App Password from iOS and OS X



According to the latest report from security researchers, Apple’s OS X and iOS have a vulnerability that allows hackers to steal passwords from all the applications installed on a device. The report comes from a reliable source, The Register, that is why I think we can believe it. This software bug affects not only those apps that are installed from the App Store or other sources, but even the native apps like Mail. What is interesting is that the vulnerability was first found in October 2014. This means that the guys from Cupertino either ignore or have difficulties in fixing the problem.

Apple's developer conference is set to kick off with a keynote on Monday, June 8 at 10 AM PT/ 1PM ET. You can watch it online here.

Live streaming video requires Safari 6.0.5 or later on OS X v10.8.5 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later.

Drake, Pharrell and David Guetta to Become iTunes Radio Guest DJs?



According to the latest report from the New York Post, Apple is currently in talks with such celebrities as Drake, Pharrell Williams and David Guetta concerning the possibility of becoming guest DJs for a completely revamped music service called iTunes Radio. The same report also states that the guys from Cupertino are still in negotiations with major labels about the upcoming Apple Music service, which is expected to be launched later this year. The reporters claim the guys from Cupertino will offer a three-month trial period and a regular fee of $10 per month for the new music service.

iPhone 6, Galaxy S6 or HTC One M9 Plus: Which One Is Faster?



A new interesting video has recently appeared on the Internet. This video shows us three flagship devices, namely, Apple’s iPhone 6, Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and HTC’s One M9 Plus compared to each other in terms of speed and performance.

The author of the short clip decided to use several applications to test the launch speed and the performance of each high-end smartphone. As can be seen in the video below, the iPhone 6 turned out to be the most efficient device. Samsung Galaxy S6 was nearly identical from the point of view of performance, while One M9 Plus was noticeably slower than the aforementioned devices. And that is strange since this handset has 3GB of RAM.

Google Updates YouTube Player for iPad, Disables Fullscreen Mode



It appears that Google has recently updated their embeddable YouTube player for iPad. While the update usually means that software becomes more stable, efficient and gets new features, this one is not as good as it was expected to be. Google has killed the fullscreen mode on Apple’s iPad. It is currently unknown whether Google has done this intentionally or accidentally, the fact remains: the only way for Apple’s tablet users to watch fullscreen YouTube videos is to use the iOS application for iPad.

First Apple Watch Edition Unboxing Videos Appear Online



Apple has recently started shipping the high-end 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition models to those people who pre-ordered the devices back in April. Users have begun receiving their long-anticipated 42mm and 38mm wearable devices with black sport bands.

Keeping these things in mind, it is not strange that first unboxing videos have begun to appear on the Internet. One of the first videos offering a closer look at the gold smartwatch was published on YouTube by a user nicknamed TechRax, who is famous for boiling the iPhone 6 in Coca-Cola and grinding the handset with a grinder. Universal Releases First 'Steve Jobs' Movie Trailer [Video]



As you probably know, Universal is currently working on a new Steve Jobs biopic, which is expected to be released on October, 9th. The movie is directed by Danny Boyle and is based on the script written by Aaron Sorkin. Michael Fassbender is starring as Apple co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs.

Nearly half a year before the official debut of the long-awaited biopic, Universal has released the very first trailer for the movie. It is available below, so you can take a look and then tell me what you think about this short clip.
