4.7-inch iPhone to Come in August, 5.5-inch - in September



According to the latest report from Economic Daily News, Apple may release its long-anticipated iPhone 6 with 4.7-inch display in August, not in September as it was reported earlier. Moreover, the 5.5-inch handset will come in September. The company from Cupertino is expected to ship as many as 80 million iPhone 6 units this year.

Apple Acquires Beats Electronics - Rumor



Apple may soon acquire Beats Electronics, the headphone manufacturer and the company behind one of the most popular streaming music services. The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and The New York Times have confirmed that Apple is currently in talks with Beats Electronics. If the two companies come to an agreement, the acquisition will be announced next week.

TSMC Shipped First Batch of Fingerprint Sensors for Upcoming Gadgets



According to the latest rumors, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) has already provided the first batch of fingerprint sensors for Apple's would-be iPhone 6, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3. This may indicate that the mass production of all of the abovementioned gadgets will start soon.

Attachment Encryptor: Fix for Email Encryption Issue

Apple to Open Flagship Store Inside of World Trade Center Mall in New York



According to the latest rumors, Apple may open its new flagship store inside of the upcoming World Trade Center mall in New York. The store is expected to be located in the lower level of the mall.

The guys from Cupertino signed all the documents required for opening the store. This means it may be opened as soon as in 2015.

Apple to Hold 'Enormous' iPhone Upgrade Event Soon



Apple is expected to hold an "enormous" iPhone upgrade event in its retail stores. On May 8th, the guys from Cupertino will start sending emails to those users who have an older iPhone. They will be offered a discount on newer handset - iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c - if they decide to give their old one back to Apple.

iOS 7 Does Not Encrypt Email Attachments - Security Researcher



Apple's iOS 7 (including iOS 7.1) is not as secure and protected as it was believed to be. According to what security researcher Andreas Kurtz writes, email attachments sent using native Mail app aren't encrypted. What's even more interesting is that Apple claims the files are encrypted. This means the guys from Cupertino had no idea about the issue until now.

Both Apple and Samsung are Found Guilty of Patent Infringements



Samsung infringed on Apple's patents. This is what the jury found out during the Apple vs Samsung trial. What is interesting, though, is that Apple was also accused of violating Samsung's patent for "Apparatus for recording and reproducing digital image and speech", so now it has to pay the South Korean manufacturer $158.400.
