Apple is reportedly working on a new song identification system for iOS 8. The company plans to cooperate with Shazam in order to add a new feature to its native music player, Bloomberg reports. Why do we need such a feature in iOS? To be honest, I don't  know.

Yahoo to Become Apple's Default Search Engine?



According to the latest rumors, Yahoo is planning to become Apple's default search engine. The company is already working on two internal projects aimed at improving the search and monetization capabilities. Moreover, Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is now preparing a presentation about the new product capabilities. This presentation should convince Apple executives that Yahoo services are what they actually need.

8GB iPhone 5c Becomes Available in Several New Countries



Back in March, Apple released a new 8GB version of iPhone 5c in several countries, namely, the UK, France, Germany, Australia and China. Following the debut on the markets mentioned above, the handset earlier today became available in the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Italy, Belgium and Poland.

New 'Office 365 Personal' Subscription for Mac and iPad Users



A couple of weeks after the official release of Office for iPad, Microsoft has decided to start offering a cheaper Office 365 subscription for those people who use Office apps only only on two devices. For instance, on a Mac or PC or on a tablet. In our particular case, on an iPad.

LG to Produce Flexible Displays for iWatch



According to a new report from Korea's Naver, LG will become the only supplier for flexible displays for Apple's upcoming iWatch. What is interesting about the device is that it will come in two sizes, just like the next-gen iPhone.

Samsung Denies Copying iPhone, Says 'Marketing Genius' Helped to Beat Rivals



While the guys from Cupertino accuse Samsung of copying the design of their iPhone and infringing on a number of their patents, Samsung executives claim it was marketing that allowed the company to gain popularity among users. This is probably a new type of marketing strategy developed by the South Korean manufacturer himself. It allows to use patented technologies without the owner's permission and to mock rival's products.

A photo showing something very similar to white iPhone 6 front panel appeared today on Chinese social network Weibo. The panel is only slightly larger than that of current iPhone 5s, so I can assume it is of the would-be 4.7-inch iPhone.

Auki: Tweak that Lets You Reply to Messages Quickly



A new tweak for those who like texting friends has recently appeared on Cydia. It is called Auki. The tweak allows to compose new and reply to messages you get within few taps on the screen.

To create a new message, all you need is to swipe down the screen. To answer a message, you need to tap on the newly added "Reply" button. Nothing more. That's all thanks to the Quick Compose and Quick Reply modes. Take a look at the video showing how Auki works.

A developer named Ryan Petrich has recently teased a new version of Activator. It is a beta version and it can boast of some new battery percentage actions.

The new feature allows you to set the so-called triggers for certain battery level. For example, your iPhone can play a ringtone each time it reaches a certain battery level. This is very convenient, I must admit.
