Apple Acquires Beats Electronics - Rumor
Apple may soon acquire Beats Electronics, the headphone manufacturer and the company behind one of the most popular streaming music services. The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg and The New York Times have confirmed that Apple is currently in talks with Beats Electronics. If the two companies come to an agreement, the acquisition will be announced next week.
Apple Hires Former Nokia Senior Camera Engineer
Apple has reportedly hired Ari Partinen, a senior camera engineer at Nokia. According to what he has recently posted on his Twitter, he will start working for the company from Cupertino as soon as in June.

Apple has released the ninth OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 beta to developers for testing. As usual, the new version has been seeded just one week after the eighth beta (build number build 13D55). Apart from the operating system itself, Apple has released Safari 7.0.4.
TSMC Shipped First Batch of Fingerprint Sensors for Upcoming Gadgets

According to the latest rumors, Apple may open its new flagship store inside of the upcoming World Trade Center mall in New York. The store is expected to be located in the lower level of the mall.

iOS 7 Does Not Encrypt Email Attachments - Security Researcher
Apple's iOS 7 (including iOS 7.1) is not as secure and protected as it was believed to be. According to what security researcher Andreas Kurtz writes, email attachments sent using native Mail app aren't encrypted. What's even more interesting is that Apple claims the files are encrypted. This means the guys from Cupertino had no idea about the issue until now.

Samsung infringed on Apple's patents. This is what the jury found out during the Apple vs Samsung trial.
