Apple Sold More iPhones in China Than in America in Fiscal Q1 2015?





As you probably know, Apple is expected to announce its financial results in the first fiscal quarter of 2015 on Tuesday, January 27th. Today, a new report has been released by the Financial Times reporters, which suggests that the guys from Cupertino may have sold more iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus units in China than in the USA in the last quarter. This happened for the first time in the history of the company. Still, it should be noted that the report is based on the analysts' estimates and rumors, that is why I suggest that you should take it with a few pinches of salt.

Samsung to Produce 75% of A9 Chips for New iPhones and iPads



About a month ago, a rumor appeared on the Internet, which suggested that Samsung will become Apple's primary A9 chip supplier. Although this rumor contradicted with previous reports from reliable insiders, who believed both Samsung and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) would supply the company from Cupertino with chips for next-generation iPhones and iPads, it looked quite plausible.

Yesterday, a new report from a South Korean newspaper called Maeil Business was spotted on the Net. According to this report, Samsung will get 75% of orders for the production of the A9 chip. The same report also notes that the processor for the new iPhone and probably iPad Air and iPad mini may be manufactured at the factory in Austin, Texas.

Nexus 6 Lacks Fingerprint Recognition Because of Apple?



According to what former Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside told in the recent interview, Apple's acquisition of the firm called AuthenTec, which took place in 2012, prevented Google from adding a fingerprint sensor to its Nexus 6. This handset was initially intended to feature an advanced fingerprint sensor on a back panel, right in the place where the Motorola logo now sits. Moreover, first prototypes of the device featured a sensor capable of recognizing owner's fingerprints. However, since Apple purchased AuthenTec and the rights for all its technologies, Google decided to opt out from the sensor.

Apple Watch to Hit Stores in March, 12-inch MacBook Air Early in 2015



Several new rumors, which deal with Apple's long-anticipated smartwatch and the 12-inch MacBook Air have recently appeared on the Internet. According to the latest report released by a well-known and usually reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo, the Apple Watch will indeed hit the store shelves in March. Moreover, he is sure Apple will ship 2.8 million Apple Watch units in the first quarter of the availability of the smartwatch. Apart from that, the expert believes that the launch of the larger MacBook Air will also take place early this year - in the first quarter.

Martin Hajek Creates New iPad Pro Concept [Images]



As you probably know, apart from releasing the Apple Watch and the 12-inch MacBook Air sometime this year, the guys from Cupertino are expected to launch the new version of its iPad. This version will feature an enormous 12-inch display (yes, just like the next-gen MacBook), thin aluminum body, Touch ID fingerprint sensor and a bunch of other useful features. People familiar with the matter claim the tablet will be targeted at the enterprise users and called the iPad Pro. Keeping these things in mind, a well-known designer Martin Hajek has recently created a new iPad Pro concept.
