Apple has recently updated its Apple Store app with new features,which make it easier for customers to commit purchases. The updated application can boast of the support of Touch ID for quick access to purchase history and EasyPay receipts. Apple Adds 35 New Banks to List of Supported by Apple Pay



As you probably know, Apple’s NFC-based payments system called Apple Pay is currently available only in the United States of America. The guys from Cupertino are working hard to increase the number of partners supporting their service. A strong indication of their effort is the fact that they are constantly updating the list of supported banks and financial institutions. According to the latest document published by Apple, Apple Pay has recently begun working with 35 new banks in the USA. The total number of partners among financial institutions is now close to 300. If to take into account the number of retailers and shops across the USA, the total number will be even larger.

According to the latest reports from reliable sources, Apple has recently added the support of about 30 new banks and financial institutions from the USA to its Apple Pay system. Currently, the total number of Apple Pay partners in this country exceeds 200 banks and credit unions. Apple Pay Now Supports 30 New Financial Institutions



As you probably know, the guys from Cupertino launched their own mobile payments system last year. This system is called Apple Pay; it is based on the Near Field Communication technology and it uses the Touch ID fingerprint sensor to secure each payment. The only drawback is that the service is currently available only in the USA. According to the latest shared by people familiar with the matter, Apple has recently added the support of 30 new banks and credit institutions to its payments system. From now on, Apple Pay works with Charles Schwab Bank, RBC Bank and several other large financial organizations located in the USA.

Apple Releases Third iOS 8.3 Beta to Developers for Testing



The guys from Cupertino on Thursday seeded the third iOS 8.3 beta to developers for testing. The release came about two weeks after the release of the second iOS 8.3 beta, which could boast of new emoji picker, better CarPlay connectivity, the support of Google’s two step verification, new Siri languages and a number of other performance and stability improvements. New beta became available for Apple’s developers just several days after the public release of iOS 8.2, which could bo the official release of iOS 8.2 that featured the support of the Apple Watch.

Google to Create Apple Pay Rival Soon?



Following Samsung, who announced a new payments system dubbed Samsung Pay on Sunday, another Apple rival, Google, told about its plans to launch its own payments service called presumably “Android Pay” and create an API, which will let developers integrate the new service into their apps. What can I say? We all live in a very competitive world, that is why so many tech giants create products and services with similar functionality.

Tim Cook Reveals New Details about Apple Watch



According to what Tim Cook told local Apple employees during his latest visit to Berlin, Germany, the long-anticipated Apple Watch will be water resistant. Looks like the guys from Cupertino modified the original smartwatch model. Apple Releases Second iOS 8.3 Beta to Developers



Apart from releasing the second beta of OS X Yosemite 10.10.3, the guys from Cupertino have recently seeded the second beta of iOS 8.3 with Xcode 6.3 beta 2 to developers. The release of this version of Apple’s mobile operating system comes about two weeks after the release of the very first iOS 8.3 beta, which contained several new features, namely, a brand new emoji picker, the support of wireless CarPlay connectivity, Google’s two-step verification as well as Apple Pay support of UnionPay in China.

Google to Announce Apple Pay Competitor in May?



According to the latest report from the Wall Street Journal, Google is currently planning to revamp its Google Wallet service in order to compete with the recently-released NFC-based payments system called Apple Pay. The new Wallet will be officially announced this May, at the annual Google I/O developer conference, reporters claim. While this rumor hasn’t yet been confirmed, such a step is quite possible as the only way to compete with Apple’s payments service is to make Google’s own service better.
