According to a report from GizmoChina, the design of the widely-rumored iPhone 6c will be identical to the design of the iPhone 5c. This means the handset will get the same plastic body with colorful back shells. Does this mean that the device will be a copy of the iPhone 6 in terms of hardware? Well, we don’t know this for sure, but if to keep in mind that the 5c was a copy of the previous-generation Apple smartphone, such a suggestion really makes sense.

Apple’s patents covering the ‘slide to unlock' feature are invalid in Germany. According to the latest report from Reuters reporters, this decision reaffirms the same ruling made by the Federal Patent Court in 2013.

British Firm Builds iPhone 6 with Hydrogen Fuel Cell Inside

A British firm called Intelligent Energy has recently built a working iPhone 6 unit with a hydrogen fuel cell inside. The most interesting thing about this handset is that it still has a Li-ion battery and its dimensions are the same. The modified iPhone 6 has a tweaked headphone jack, which is now used for refilling and several holes on the back panel for releasing water vapour produced by the hydrogen fuel cell. According to The Telegraph, the device created by Intelligent Energy can work up to one week on a single charge. Yep, that’s right: an iPhone can work for one week without an external battery.

Apple Stops Signing iOS 8.4, Downgrades Are Impossible Now

Apple has just stopped signing iOS 8.4. This means it is currently impossible to downgrade to this version of Apple’s mobile operating system.

If you have a jailbroken iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, make sure you don’t upgrade to iOS 8.4.1 accidentally. Although it seems that this version is jailbreakable, currently there are no tools capable of hacking devices with IOS 8.4.1 on board. If you try jailbreaking your device and then something goes wrong, you will have to restore to iOS 8.4.1, not iOS 8.4.
