Apple Suppliers Start Hiring New Workers for iPhone 7 Assembly





According to the latest report from supply chain sources, Apple suppliers have recently begun hiring workers for the assembly of the new iPhone that features a ‘more complex' design compared to the predecessor. Usually, mass hires begin later, but looks like the complexity and design peculiarities of the upcoming model will require additional knowledge and skills from workers. This can result in longer learning and training period.

Apple Releases iOS 9.3.2, Update Bricks Some iPad Pro Units



Apple has recently released iOS 9.3.2 with numerous bug fixes and a number of minor stability, security and performance enhancements to iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users worldwide.

According to the release notes, the latest update fixes the problem that caused various sound quality issues with Bluetooth accessories connected to the iPhone SE. Apart from that, iOS 9.3.2 addresses the issue with dictionary, VoiceOver and typing email addresses in the Mail and Messages apps while using certain keyboards.

New Images Show iPhone 7 Back Panel and Box



Two new images showing something what appears to be a back panel of the iPhone 7 and the retail box of the 64GB model have been published by a well-known insider OnLeaks on Twitter. If legitimate, the images prove that the next-generation iPhone will indeed feature new antenna bands together with a slightly larger protruding camera.

Only Larger iPhone Will Get OLED Display - Rumor



As it was already mentioned on our website, either next year or in 2018, Apple may stop using IPS LCD displays in iPhones and switch to more advanced OLED screens instead. According to the latest report from reliable insiders, only the larger 5.5-inch iPhone model will get the widely-rumored OLED display, at least at the very beginning. Apple Loses Another Stakeholder Because of Poor Sales



One of key investors has recently sold his stake in Apple. According to the latest report first shared by Business Insider UK, billionaire David Tepper has decided to end his relationship with Apple because of weak iPhone sales and unclear situation with the Cupertino-based tech giant and the Chinese market. Google Becomes World’s Most Valuable Company



Alphabet, Google’s parent company, has recently surpassed Apple and became the most expensive company in the world. Alphabet’s market capitalization is now equal to about $498.56 billion while the one of Apple is about $496.69 billion. Apple’s position has become much worse over the last couple of weeks because of the first decline in iPhone sales in the history. Even more, weak iPhone, iPad and Mac sales still continue to influence Apple’s market capitalization.

Apple’s MacBook Market Share Falls 40% in Q1 2016



According to the latest report from TrendForce, Apple’s laptop sales have fallen more than 40% over the last couple of months. In the fourth quarter of 2015, Apple’s MacBook market share was equal to 9.7% and now it is estimated that the share accounts for 7.1%. Keeping in mind that total shipments fell in 2016, the decline made up 40.4%. In general, Apple went from the fifth place in the ranking of top laptop vendors to the sixth.

Apple to Change iPhone Design in 2017 - Rumor



According to John Gruber, Apple will change the iPhone design dramatically in 2017. Gruber, who is considered to be a well-known Apple expert, believes the device will get “an all-new form factor”. Apple to Release One 5.5-inch iPhone Model in 2016 with Dual Camera, Other Improvements



According to the latest report from usually-reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple won’t release two separate iPhone 7 Plus and Pro models with single lens and dual lens cameras respectively. Instead, the company will unveil one 5.5-inch iPhone with dual camera and other improvements, for example, 3GB of RAM on board. As to the name of the handset, Kuo believes Apple will stick to the “iPhone 7 Plus”.

Notably, the images shared by @OnLeaks earlier today prove Kuo’s suggestion. As you see, the larger model has a slightly larger cutout for the rear camera and this may mean that the device will get the rumored dual lens sensor. Foxconn to Build Factory in India Soon - Report



According to the latest report from the Economic Times, Foxconn is planning to build a new $10 billion factory in India. The manufacturing facility will be located in the Maharashtra state and specialize in production of Apple devices. Foxconn is reportedly looking for 1,200 acres of land to build the factory. Sources also claim that the tech giant representatives have nearly reached agreement with local authorities, so the start of construction may take place pretty soon.
