On Wednesday Apple released a MacBook Air EFI firmware update 2.0 to resolve issue with display. The update is recommended for all new 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Air models and requires Mac OS X 10.6.5. It addresses problems where the MacBook Air is unresponsive or displays just a black screen after booting or waking. Despite scattered reports of issues with the MacBook Air, the laptop has continued to sell well, especially the 11-inch model. Analysts tracking retail activity on Black Friday found that the 11-inch MacBook Air was "flying off the shelves" and a "customer favorite."

Have you ever wanted to listen to your friend’s music through the computer? That’s something iTunes 10 lets you do now – just plug the iPod touch, iPhone or iPad into PC and you can play the music on that iOS device.

Finally we’ve got it! The updated YourTube 2.0 application has been launched, which boasts the full support of iOS 4.x for jailbroken phones, supporting devices such as iPad and iPhone 4 Retina Display. Now you can simply download video to your device iPod touch, iPad and iPhone, as well as import all your downloaded videos in the application for the iPod. This new feature is called «Gremlin» and will be available a bit later for other Cydia applications, such as Attachment Saver and Safari Download Manager.

First Apple’s iAd was Nissan Leaf ad. We’ve gotten exclusive legit details of the upcoming Verizon (unicorn) iPhone 4. The iPhone 4 supposedly will gain a 1.2 GHz next-gen A4 chip, a larger 3.7 inch retina display, an all new internal antenna, all in a more durable design. To be honest that just sounds like the probable iPhone 5 launching in June 2011.

Online advertising network Chitika published some statistics of what version of iOS is installed on users' iPhones. The results are quite interesting and predictable. The latest iPhone mobile operating system, iOS 4, is already accounting for one-half of all iPhone web traffic. These numbers are based on a statistically useful nine million iPhone page impressions.

Looking more deeply, iOS 4.0 – the version released on June 21st – has 44.5%. The latest version iOS 4.0.1 clocks in at only 5% of the market. This is understandable, since it was released less than a week ago:

Today Skype released a new version with support of multitasking (iTunes link).

What's New In Version 2.0.1

- Run Skype in the background with multitasking in iOS4.
Receive Skype calls and IM while other apps are running or when your iPhone is locked. You can also continue your call while you switch to another application.
Multitasking is available only with iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS.
