August Smart Lock is Now Available for Purchase at the Apple Store
The August Smart Lock is now available for purchase at the Apple Store for $249.99.
The smart lock, designed by Behar, leverages a Bluetooth low energy-enabled locking mechanism and a mobile application to send virtual keys to anyone you choose to have access to your home. As the key holder arrives at the door, August auto-unlocks allowing you to enter into the home. The lock also has a security feature called EverLock, which senses when the door is closed behind you and automatically locks the door.

With Apple preparing to show off an updated lineup of iPads on Thursday, designer Martin Hajek has asked the question “What if the new iPad’s were to borrow the design language from the iPhone6/6+?” on his site. As he has done in the past, Hajek has mocked up some remarkable 3D renderings of how the theoretical Apple devices could appear.

40% of Apple's A8 Chips Are Manufactured by Samsung - Rumor
Though Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company is the main supplier of the advanced 20-nanometer A8 chips used in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung reportedly continues to produce about 40% of high-end processors. As revealed by IHS, the manufacturing cost of the new SoC is $20, which is $3 more than the manufacturing cost of the A7 processor.

Immediately after the start of sales of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in several countries, first drop and crash tests began to appear on the Internet. The bad news is that both handsets are not doing well in these ultimate durability tests. If to take into consideration the time of the releases, we may assume that these two OS X versions are identical. However, such an assumption hasn't yet been confirmed neither by developers, nor by Apple, so take it with a few pinches of salt.
Samsung Releases New Ad, Says Apple Copied Its Devices
Samsung has recently posted a new ad mocking the recently released iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. In the short video, which is available below, Samsung claims the guys from Cupertino copied the large displays of South-Korean smartphones and their overall design. Aside from mocking Apple's handsets, the ad shows us the next-generation Galaxy Note. I must admit that both smartphones, the iPhone 6 and the Galaxy Note 4, look very similar in terms of size and shape.

According to the latest report from atechwebsite, the guys from Cupertino are currently working on a new version of MacBook Air. The next-generation laptop is expected to feature a 12-inch display and come in Space Gray, Gold, and Silver colors.
