Foxconn profits raise by 41% due to high iPhone sales
According to The Wall Street Journal, Hon Hai Precision Industry Company, widely recognized as Foxconn, has experienced an abrupt upsurge of 41% of the second quarter profits. Foxconn is Apple's leading iPhone and iPad assembler, and the increase in revenue is accounte to by high iPhone sales rates.
The report notes that 40% of Foxconn's profits come from Apple. In the second quarter of 2013 the figure of net profit of Hon Hai Precision Industry reached the top point of NT$16.98 billion (USD $566.7 Million) as compared NT$12.06 billion (USD $402 million) from the same period in 2012.

According to the latest Bloomberg report, Apple will release its new iPad and iPad mini in the final three months of this year. What that means is that at the media event, which is to take place on September 10th, we shall see only the next generation iPhone.
Pegatron revenue upsurges thanks to iPhone production
According to Reuters, Apple supplier Pegatron is likely to enjoy a 50 percent increase in Q3 revenue. The supplier reaches the figure despite the stable decline of its PC business continuing. The sector responsible for the revenue upsuge is the iPhone. The following announcement was made by Pegatron after the company did not live up o analyst's expectations concerning revenue in Q2.
“We expect revenue in the non-computing segment to grow by 40 to 50 percent in Q3 due to new consumer products. Q4 will also be higher,” said company CEO and President Jason Cheng in an investor conference.
Pegatron is most likely to be responsible for production of the low-budget iPhone 5C – the plastic iPhone. Moreover, Digitimes rumored that it may turn to be the second iPhone 5S supplier, although Foxconn is responsible for the major production. Both handsets are expected to be announced by Apple on 10th September.

Twelve South has launched a new HiRise stand for the iPhone and iPad mini. The design of the stand enable it to be compatible with the Apple Lightning Cable and most cases available on the market.
Using one of three different adjustable clips and your Apple Lightning Cable (not included), HiRise positions the Lightning connector at a raised height to connect and charge your iPhone 5 or iPad mini. This allows HiRise to work with most cases, including cases with recessed connections no other dock can fit, like the OtterBox Defender, Speck CandyShell and, of course, the BookBook for iPhone. iPad 5 with Thinner Bezel and a Translucent Logo?
A video, showing something very similar to the iPad 5 with translucent logo and thinner bezel, has been posted on YouTube by a Japanese website Mac Otakara. There’re no internal details - only the front and back covers assembled together.

iPad 5's Rear Shell Photos Leaked Online
There’re some leaked photos on the Internet that show how would the new iPad 5 rear shell look like. Without wasting much time on talking about when would Apple release its new tablet, I’ll simply quote the description of the leaked panel:
Our great sources have given us TWO unreleased iPad 5 rear housings, which shows some new exciting features. The iPad 5’s dimensions are surprisingly enough 24×16.8 cm and weighs only 100 gram, which is clearly both shorter and lighter than its predecessors.
Will iPad mini lack Retina displays?
It is rumored that Apple is testing a new iPad Mini with an A6 processor but without a Retina display. It is proved by a hidden file that lists all supported iOS 7 devices.
According to this information, Apple will be launching three new iPad mini models: iPad “2,8,” iPad “2,9,” and iPad “2,10.” The devices ill be called J75, J76, and J77 respectively. One of the three models will support only WiFi connection, while two others will be cellular-compatible. (just like the current iPad minis). The internal nomenclature for these iPads follows the current iPad minis, which are iPad “2,5,” iPad “2,6,” and iPad “2,7.”
The new iPad minis will boast a s5l8950x processor. It has the same A6 chip as current iPhone 5. It is a shame that the coming iPads minis will lack "@2x" hooks to higher resolution images. Thus it may be assumed that they will not have a Retina display.

New iPad will boast GF2 Touch Screen Technology
According to some sources, the next generation iPad will feature a 2048 x 1536 resolution, the same as the current model has. However, the new iPad is to boast a slimmer bezel as well as GF2 touch screen technology. This will undoubtedly make the device thinner and lighter.
