Mass-Production of iWatch to Start in November





According to a new report from a well-known and usually reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo, Apple’s long-anticipated iWatch won’t enter mass-production until November. Previously, it was believed that the manufacture of the smartwatch would start in September.

Looks like the development of the iWatch turned out to be more difficult than the guys from Cupertino expected. There are several reasons for that, namely, a new curved AMOLED screen, a sapphire cover etc.

First Batch of iPhone 6 to Include 68 Million Units?



According to Taiwan's Business Weekly, Apple has placed a huge amount of orders for the iPhone 6. In fact, the number of handsets the guys from Cupertino are planning to sell in the first weeks after the release is nearly 68 million.

TSMC Ships First Batches of A8 Processors to Apple



According to the latest report from people familiar with the matter, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company has recently began shipping processors for Apple’s long-anticipated iPhone 6. The chips are now moving towards the plants where the handsets will be assembled.

Robots Will Assist Human Workers at Foxconn



Earlier this week I told you that Foxconn executives are planning to replace several thousands of workers with robots. Looks like I was mistaken as according to a new report from Asia, Foxconn’s so-called Foxbots will only assist assembly line workers. While this is a massive step forward, it is still too early to talk about the fundamental changes in the iPhone manufacturing process.

According to a new report from a research firm ABI Research, Apple's iPhone 5s is currently the world’s top selling smartphone. The second, the third and the fourth places in the rating are occupied by Samsung’s Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 LTE respectively. The last spot in the Top 5 ranking was given to the iPhone 4S.

Apple Is Forced to Change 'No Refund' App Store Policy



According to the latest report from The Korea Herald, South Korea's Fair Trade Commission has ordered Apple and Google to change their "no refund" app store policies as they violate the rights of the users. Moreover, the South Korean officials say that the tech giants should inform the users about the changes in the app store policy immediately after these changes are applied.

iPhone 6 Will Be Assembled by Robots?



According to what Foxconn CEO Terry Gou said on a shareholder meeting earlier today, the company will be using robots to assemble iPhone 6. Using the machines instead of workers will allow to make the assembling process more efficient and may even lower the price of the upcoming handset.

5.5-inch iPhone 6: World's Thinnest Smartphone with Horrible Battery?



Many people believe that Apple’s iPhone 6 with 5.5-inch display will get a bigger battery, hence, it will work longer on a single charge. Well, looks like the guys from Cupertino don’t think so.
