Apple's Financial Results in Q3 of Fiscal 2014





Apple has recently announced its financial results of the third quarter of fiscal 2014, which ended on June 28th. According to the figures shared by the guys from Cupertino, the company’s revenue over the last months is $37.4 billion. As to the net profit, it is $7.7 billion. These results prove that the third quarter of 2014 has become more successful than the year-ago quarter. Well, I don’t think this is something that surprises you.

iPad mini to Become 30% Thinner, iPad Pro to Be Released Soon?



According to the latest reports from Asian sources, Apple’s next-generation iPad mini Air will be 30% thinner than the current model. It should be noted, however, that such a rumor has been first spotted in the Taiwan's United Daily News newspaper, so I suggest that you should take it with a few pinches of salt.

Photos Showing New iPhone 6 Leaked Parts Appear Online



New photos showing a Lightning port, a microphone flex cable and a headphone jack for the upcoming iPhone 6 appeared on the Internet earlier today. The images were published to the MacX forum by a user, who claims he received them from a Foxconn worker, who is currently engaged in the production of the iPhone. Well, I think we should take these photos with a few pinches of salt, even though they look legitimate.

Release of 12-inch MacBook to Be Postponed?



The guys from Cupertino may be forced to postpone the release of their long-anticipated 12-inch MacBook due to the Broadwell delays caused by Intel. Well, at least this is what Taiwan’s Economic Daily News reporters write. They claim that the laptop will hit the store shelves no sooner than at the very end of 2014 or even in 2015.

4.7-Inch iPhone 6 Front Panel Scratch Test Reveals It Is Not Sapphire [Video]



According to the video posted to YouTube by Marques Brownlee, the front panel of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 seems to be made of the next-generation Gorilla Glass or a kind material with a thin sapphire coating and not entirely of sapphire, as it was reported earlier.

As noted by Asian insiders, the mass-production of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will start next week. First Photo Showing Battery for iPhone 6 Appeared Online



New photos showing something very similar to the battery for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 appeared on the Internet earlier today. As you may see on the image below, the battery has a capacity of 1,810 mAh. If to compare this battery to the battery found inside of the iPhone 5s, we may see that its capacity only slightly higher as the capacity of the current Apple’s smartphone.

Samsung to Produce Apple's A9 Chips?



According to the latest rumors, Samsung will become the manufacturer of the A-series chips for Apple’s gadgets in 2015, not Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company as it was reported earlier. Today’s report comes from Reuters and cites KGI Securities analyst Michael Liu, who have reportedly talked to TSMC investors, so I think we can believe it.

Apple to Release iOS 8 Beta 4 on July 21st



According to the latest reports from reliable sources, the guys from Cupertino will make the next iOS 8 beta available for registered developers on Monday, July 21st. The fourth beta is expected to be seeded two weeks after the third one, breaking the usual three-week interval between the releases of new versions of Apple’s mobile operating system.
