The evad3rs have released an updated evasi0n 7.0.5 that brings the ability to jailbreak iOS 7.0.5. The iOS 7.0.5 was released earlier this week for the some iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c models (the GSM + CDMA editions).
Pod2g noted the change on twitter
Hi there! evasi0n 1.0.5 with support for iOS 7.0.5 is up on http://evasi0n.com .
Famous hacker MuscleNerd has confirmed that iOS 7.0.4 is safe to update to for users who wait iOS 7 jailbreak and are already on iOS 7.
Those at 7.x waiting for JB, maybe treat 7.0.4 as exercise in restraint. Won’t affect JB if you slip up, but test your ability to avoid it!
…but for those enjoying the 6.x JB, avoid 7.0.4 . There’s no going back (always worth saying that for sake of JB newbies)
The last update we received about the possibility of iOS 7 jailbreak was in early October when Planetbeing tweeted, "We're still working hard on the jailbreak. May have all the pieces at this point (but not certain yet)."
I’ve previously written that aside from the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C releases, on September 10th Apple may show us a completely new Apple TV, stuffed with new amazing features and whatever else. Well, today I must admit I was wrong. According to the latest AllThingsD report, there would be a software update for the existing TV box on Tuesday, but definitely not the new product presentation.
DisplaySearch analyst Richard Shim has issued a note predicting that the new iPad mini will not feature the Retina display many are expecting.
Apple is expected to refresh its iPad mini in the second half of the year. The new iPad mini will continue to use a 7.9-inch display with a 1024×768 resolution, but it will use the iOS 7 operating system and an A6 processor, in a slimmer design than the current generation. Another iPad mini is also planned for production but not until early 2014. That device is expected to feature a QXGA (2048×1536) resolution display and the iOS 7 operating system.
Pod2g, the hacker who has been an integral part of the last few jailbreaks, has announced that he is 'about to switch to an Android device' after spending some time testing iOS 7.
After a few days of iOS 7 beta 1 testing, I must admit that I am about to switch to an Android device.
IMHO, this version of iOS is the worst move Apple did in a long time.
iOS 7 design is awful, it's slow, battery life time is the worst ever, it's full of UI bugs and crashes. OK it's beta 1, but still…
I am pretty disappointed by the features I've seen in iOS 7. No revolution here. No big news. Just kid painting.
