A new photo that shows a number of lower cost iPhone 5C devices in testing at a Pegatron facility appeared on Chinese website Sina Weibo. The image seems to be legitimate since the release of the new Apple smartphone is said to take place very soon - on September 10th, moreover, the iPhone looks just as we all expect it to look after a number of leaks.
All of the handsets pictured feature a white back and sides. The new plastic iPhone model is expected to also come in a range of other colors, including blue, red, green, and yellow.
The image appears to show the devices' internal components of the handsets being tested ahead of final production. The picture was first publicized on Saturday by Nowhereelse.fr.
The big release is near. So, as I often say - let’s wait to see the new Apple device.
The surgeons in Germany used iPad to perform a liver surgery. The device helped them to access and visualize planning data. Reuters informs that the doctors used an augmented reality app to overlay the liver with virtual 3D models reconstructed from the real organ.
Developed by Fraunhofer MEVIS in Bremen, this procedure helps locate critical structures such as tumors and vessels and is expected to improve the quality of transferring pre operational resection plans into actual surgery.

Microsoft has posted a new video on its Windows Phone YouTube channel. As usual, it’s a short clip that mocks the iPhone 5’s photo sensor and claims that the Nokia Lumia 1020’s 41-megapixel camera with six physical lenses is a lot better, which is quite obvious even without watching the ad.

The results of the 2013 iPhone Photography Awards have recently been announced.
The unique feature of the competition is that the photographers are only permitted to submit images taken with an iPhone or iPod touch. No special programs such as PhotoShop are allowed. The only programs permissible are those available on iPhone/iPod such as Hipstamatic, CameraBag, etc.

Norwegian government blocks Apple from capturing its capital - Oslo - in 3D for the iOS and Mac Maps apps, reports 9to5mac with reference to Aftenposten, a Norwegian newspaper. The reason for such a decision is that the Norway’s National Security Authority doesn’t want Apple to mark the confidential buildings and areas situated in the capital on its Maps application.
