According to the official figures on the App Store usage published by the guys from Cupertino earlier this week, iOS 8 adoption rate has risen 1% over the period of time between December 8th and December 22nd and now is equal to 64%. Hackers from doulCi Team managed to downgrade the Phone 4S running iOS 7.1 to iOS 5.5.1 without SHSH blobs. It should be noted, however, that there’s no confirmation of this fact neither from hackers, nor from other trustworthy sources yet.

Amazon Releases Kindle App Update
AMZN Mobile LLC has released a ‘pre-iOS 7’ update for Kindle app recently. It fixes some compatibility issues that can prevent you from upgrading to the Apple’s seventh mobile operating system, so if you enjoy reading books and plan to continue doing this - you should install the version 3.9.2 on your iPhone or iPad.
