It was reported that a rumored Android-powered Amazon tablet will be released by September. Some people carry their iPhone everywhere. Among them is a skydiver who decided to take his smartphone with him when he recently took a plunge from an airplane. However, his smartphone fell from his pocket when he was dropping down from more than 13.000 feet. It is incredible, but as CNN reports, after the huge fall, the beaten and damaged iPhone still was able to make calls.
According to BGR Apple will released a cheap $350 iPhone this year. They also claim that the price for the iPhone 4 will be reduced too and Apple will unveil a new iPhone 4S/5 in late August.
We just received some new information from an incredibly solid source of ours. According to our source, Apple will indeed be launching a prepaid / lower cost iPhone this year. We are told the handset will retail for no more than $350 without contract. Ready for the really interesting part? It's entirely possible that the low-cost iPhone will in fact be the iPhone 3GS.
BGR also confirmed previous rumors that iPhone 5 will feature a radical new design. It is still unclear whether iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S is to be released next. Source says that new device will be "at least announced by the end of Summer, late August-ish.". And yes, Apple will continue to sell the iPhone 4.
Lot's of rumors lately. We will keep you informed.

The iPhone Dev-Team has released RedSn0w 0.9.8b3 which can perform a tethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3.4. This means that you will have to connect your device to a computer and run redsn0w each time you restart.
For the convenience of kernel hackers like @comex and @i0n1c, we have a new redsn0w 0.9.8b3 that supports a TETHERED jailbreak for iOS 4.3.4 on all devices that have 4.3.4 except the iPad2. The vast majority of people will want to stay back at 4.3.3 because that's where the untethered jailbreak is! There are no new features in 4.3.4 - only fixes for jailbreak exploits.
Also, this is a good time to remind everyone (since we're still seeing confusion about this): iPad2 owners with a baseband (3G or CDMA) cannot currently use saved blobs to go back to 4.3.3 once the signing window is closed. This is unlike every other device, so don't be confused! iPad2 owners with basebands should stay away from all updates to maintain your jailbreak!
This jailbreak works with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad 1, iPod Touch 3G and iPod Touch 4G. It does not work with iPad 2.

DigiTimes claims that Apple is seeking for the second manufacturer for the updated iPad set for release later this year.
Apple reportedly plans to add a second manufacturer for iPad 3 tablet PCs in addition to Foxconn Electronics with Taiwan-based Quanta Computer and [Pegatron] Technology being indicated as the potential contenders for the possible orders, according to industry sources in Taiwan.
[Pegatron], which reportedly have landed iPhone 5 orders from Apple, stands a better chance of winning the iPad 3 orders, the sources noted.
Pegatron now manufactures the CDMA iPhone 4 and Quanta is responsible for Mac production. Apple’s decision to add a new manufacturer for the iPad was mostly caused by the explosion on Foxconn plant and its circumstances. So the company seems to decide to minimize risk.
There have appeared new rumours about a higher-resolution iPad. The iPad HD will be launched later this year and will be sold alongside the iPad 2. The device was developed for pro-users in the video and photo-industries. There will be also launched the iPad-versions of pro-level apps such as Final Cut Pro or Aperture.
Our sources are saying that not only will there be a newly designed iPhone coming in the fall, but there is going to be a new entry into the iPad family as well. As hard as it might be to believe, the new tablet is said to sport a double resolution screen (2048 x 1536), and will be dubbed the "iPad HD." The idea behind the product is apparently that it will be a "pro" device aimed at a higher end market - folks who work in video and photo production possibly - and will be introduced alongside something like an iPad version of Final Cut or Aperture. This product is specifically said to not be the iPad 3, rather a complimentary piece of the iPad 2 line.
