Apple Launched iTunes Radio in Australia





The company from Cupertino has just launched iTunes Radio in Australia. According to the rumors, which appeared on the Internet soon after the streaming music service was launched in the USA last fall, Apple planned to bring iTunes Radio to the U.K., Australia, Canada and New Zealand at the beginning of 2014. Australia became the very first of the list above.

Senate Asks Apple and Other Tech Giants to Find Solutions to Distracted Driving Problem



The United States Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation on Thursday asked Apple, Google, Samsung, AT&T and Sprint to collaborate and come up with a technical solution to the problem of distracted driving.

Apple has just released iOS 7.0.5 to users worldwide. This is a minor update that contains only bugfixes - no serious improvements, tweaks or stuff like that. This update is said to be helpful for those Chinese iPhone 5s and iPhone 5C owners who have problems with network.

iPhone 5s Users Seem to be ‘Hungriest’ Data Consumers



According to the study that was recently conducted by a research firm JDSU, iPhone 5s users seem to be the ‘hungriest’ data consumers if compared to owners of nearly 150 other devices in both developed and developing markets across the world. This is a huge improvement, especially if to compare the amount of data downloaded by iPhone 5, 5s and 5c owners to the results of iPhone 3G several years ago.

Apple’s iPad Air has taken a top tablet spot in December in the USA. More than 40% of all Apple tablets sold during the holiday season were iPad Airs, reports research firm Consumer Intelligence Research Partners. Anyway, these are only the estimates.

42% of Smartphone Users in the USA Own iPhone



According to a research firm NDP, more than 40% of all smartphone users in the USA own an iPhone. This is a significant improvement from Q4 2012 figure, which was 35%. Samsung’s Android devices become more and more popular, so the South Korean manufacturer comes on its usual second place. As to the other companies, namely, Motorola, LG, HTC and Blackberry, their share on the market continues to drop.

Apple Wants to Ban Infringing Samsung Devices in the USA Even Though They No Longer Exist



The company from Cupertino renewed its motion to permanently ban the sales of a number of Samsung products in the United States. In case you don’t know, back in 2012, Apple accused Samsung of copying the interface and interiour design of its iPhone.
