Apple's Cash Reserves Beat Those of Most U.S. Industries Combined
According to the information found in Moody's Investors Service study, which was published on Thursday, Apple remains the top cash holder in the United States of America with about $178 billion in cash reserves. Its closest competitors from the technology sector, Microsoft and Google, have noticeably weaker reserves of $90.2 billion and $64.4 billion in cash respectively. Another interesting fact is that the sum of money Apple has in its reserve is greater that the sum of money most of the U.S. industries have combined. That’s what I call a successful tech company.
Apple Posts Detailed 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch Schematics for Accessory Makers
As a part of the recently-updated 'Made for Apple Watch' program, the guys from Cupertino have recently published the detailed schematics for the 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch. These schematics have been published specifically for third-party companies and Apple partners, who can use them to create bands and other accessories for the long-anticipated wearable device. Apple Confirms Tattoos May Affect Apple Watch Performance
Earlier this week, a rumor appeared on the Internet, which suggested that tattoos may prevent the heart rate sensor found in the Apple Watch from working properly. A number of users with tattoos on their skin complained about problems in using the health-tracking features of their wearable devices. Apple had to respond somehow to these complaints, that is why the company issued an updated support document saying that ‘permanent or temporary changes’ to user’s skin, such as tattoos, due to the ink and its elements may cause problems in measuring the heart rate.

Apple Watch Constrained at Launch Because of Faulty Taptic Engines
According to the latest report from The Wall Street Journal, the supply of the Apple Watch was heavily constrained at launch because of faulty taptic engine units. The part manufactured by a Chinese firm called AAC Technologies Holdings Inc. turned out to be defective.
