According to the latest rumors shared by reliable supply chain sources, the next-generation iPhone may become waterproof and dustproof and get a touch sensitive Home button instead of the physical one. The rumors come from Digitimes, a Taiwanese news website that has a rather mixed track record. Anyway, it goes in line with earlier reports suggesting Apple was planning to equip the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with a new Home button to make the device thinner and lighter.
Apple Hires Former Aston Martin and Tesla Chief Engineer
Apple has reportedly hired Chris Porritt, former Aston Martin Chief Engineer and Tesla Vice President of Vehicle Engineering. According to the latest reports from reliable tech news websites, the expert will focus on “special projects” that most likely include the development of the long-awaited and widely-rumored Apple car codenamed “Titan”. Porritt can possibly substitute Steve Zadesky who left Apple earlier this year and who was believed to be a lead of the car project.

Pangu Releases First Apple TV 4 Jailbreak
The Pangu team has released a jailbreak for the fourth-generation Apple TV. The first announcement about the work on a completely new tool was made a couple of weeks ago. According to the images that were first spotted on the Chinese website called Digi.tech.qq.com, the widely-rumored iPhone 7 may get a new 7.04 watt-hours battery. Currently, the iPhone 6s is equipped with a 6.61 watt-hours and the older iPhone 6 - with a 7.01 watt-hours battery. Additional details about the components, just like the origin of the photos, remain unknown, so it’s rather unclear whether we should believe what we see or not.
