Apple to Release New 4-inch iPhone and iPad Air 3 in First Half of 2016





According to the latest report from usually-reliable KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in the first half of 2016, Apple will release the long-awaited 4-inch iPhone and the iPad Air 3. The expert doesn’t believe these products will become very popular and because of this fact has changed the shipment estimates for these devices. Now the expert thinks Apple will sell between 10-12 million iPhone 5SE units. Previously it was believed that the company may ship 18-20 million units of the updated 4-inch smartphone in 2016.

Person Responsible for Apple’s Electric Car Development Leaves Company



A person who was allegedly controlling the development of Apple’s widely-rumored electric car codenamed “Titan”, the Vice President of Product Design Steve Zadesky, is reportedly leaving the company after sixteen years in Cupertino. Such a rumor has been recently shared by usually-reliable Wall Street Journal reporters. The reason for leaving such a successful company as Apple is reportedly connected with his personal choice, rather than with the results Zadesky demonstrated while working for the tech giant.

Japan Display Confirms OLED Panels Production in 2018



Japan Display has recently confirmed that it will start the production of OLED panels in 2018. Even though the manufacturer haven’t disclosed any additional details about the client requiring these new panels, it is almost clear that it is Apple that will be using new OLED displays in the iPhones starting in 2018. Looks like now Japan Display has officially become the rival of LG Display and Samsung who also compete to supply Apple with new OLED displays.

Apple to Slightly Update Apple Watch in March, New Model to Come in September



Aside from announcing the new 4-inch iPhone called either the iPhone 6c or iPhone 5SE in March, Apple may also slightly update the Apple Watch. In particular, the company is reportedly planning to release a major watchOS 2.2 update and unveil a number of new bands for the wearable device. According to the latest report from MyDrivers, the long-awaited 4-inch iPhone will be called the iPhone 5SE and in terms of design will resemble the iPhone 5S, a device, which was released in 2013. The report contradicts other reports from reliable sources claiming the smaller iPhone will look like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. Nevertheless, since Apple hasn’t unveiled the phone yet, we should pay attention to every single rumor about the upcoming device.

Google Paid $1 Billion to Remain Default iOS Search Engine in 2014



It is no secret that Apple’s long-term market rival, Google, pays the company to remain one of the default search engines on iOS devices like iPhones, iPads and iPod touch units. Up until now, the exact sum paid by the search giant annually have been unknown to public. Thanks to the details of Oracle's recent copyright lawsuit against Google, which were obtained by reliable Bloomberg reporters, we now know that in 2014, the sum spent by Google to remain one of the default search engines on Apple’s portable devices accounted for impressive $1 billion. By the way, this figure goes in line with the one shared by reliable insiders back in 2012, so I guess we can believe the recent report.

A new video showing something similar to the widely-rumored 4-inch iPhone 6c has been recently published to YouTube by M.I.C. Gadget reporters. Apple’s WWDC 2016 to Take Place June 13th to 17th - Rumor



Even though Apple hasn’t yet officially announced the dates for the 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference, it’s most likely that it will take place between June 13th and June 17th. These dates still remain available for booking at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, California, a place Apple uses to hold its annual conference for developers. All other dates are already booked for other events not connected with Apple or its partners.
