Apple Announced Financial Results in Q2 2017





Apple has announced the financial results in the second fiscal quarter of 2017. The quarterly revenue is equal to $52.9 billion, which is less than $50.6 billion in the year-ago quarter. International sales made up 65% of revenue.

98% of AirPods Users Like their Headphones



According to the latest survey conducted by Experian and Creative Strategies survey, 98% of AirPods users are satisfied with their headphones. Most of these people would also recommend the wireless headphones to a friend or relative. 942 AirPods owners took part in the survey.

Siri Helps to Save Lives of 3 Fishermen



Siri on an iPhone 7 has once again helped to save several lives. Three fishermen who traveled four miles from the coast of Key Biscayne last Sunday nearly drowned after their boat started taking on water. Luckily, one of them had a waterproof iPhone 7 and managed to call emergency services using Siri.

Leaked iPhone 8 Case Reveals Vertical Camera Cutout



Looks like the iPhone 8 will indeed feature a vertical dual camera and the Touch ID fingerprint scanner integrated into the OLED display. A new image of the purported iPhone 8 case reveals the cutout for the redesigned camera on the back panel. No other cutouts are present on the leaked part. The image was posted by KK on Twitter, we should take it with a few pinches of salt.

New Details About Apple’s Amazon Echo Competitor Appear Online



A well-known insider Sonny Dickson has shared some more details about the upcoming Amazon Echo competitor created by Apple. According to Dickson, the new device will have a concave top part with controls and resemble the Mac Pro in terms of design. There will be a large speaker as well. According to the latest images shared by Bloomberg, Apple is using the while Lexus RX450h SUV with a number of sensors and cameras to test an autonomous driving system developed by the company engineers. The sensors the company has used in its cars have reportedly been purchased from the suppliers, not developed internally or custom-made.

New schematic showing something similar to the iPhone 8 rear panel has leaked online. The image is interesting as it shows the dual camera placed vertically as well as what appears to be a wireless charging component. It’s difficult to say if the component depicted below is legitimate or not as it was shared by an unknown sources on the Chinese social network Weibo.
