Apple’s iPhone 7 is faster than the Galaxy Note 7 in real life. The results of the recent speed test performed by PhoneBuff prove that the newly-released phone is much better at opening apps, editing videos, and keeping open games and applications active in the background.
PhoneBuff performed a test consisting of a set of typical everyday tasks. The final result of the iPhone 7 is 1 minute 40 seconds, whereas that of the Galaxy Note 7 is equal to 3 minutes 14 seconds. This difference becomes even more surprising if we take a look at the specs of both devices. Apple’s iPhone 7 features an A10 Fusion chip and 2GB of RAM, while the Galaxy Note 7 has an Exynos 8890 CPU and 4GB of RAM.
Currently, the iPhone 7 is available for purchase on several markets, while the sales of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 have been paused due to the problem with the exploding battery of the device.

Next-Generation iPhone to Feature 3GB of RAM?
A new report has recently appeared on the Internet that corroborates previous rumors about the amount of RAM the next-generation iPhone may get. According to this report, Apple is planning to add 3GB of RAM to the iPhone 7. Currently, it’s unclear whether both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch model will get an increase in RAM capacity or only the larger one. The report comes from a DigiTimes reporters who cite supply chain sources.

The Wall Street Journal reporters have recently confirmed that Apple may be planning to increase the base storage on the iPhone 7 from 16GB to 32GB. Two new images showing something what appears to be a back panel of the iPhone 7 and the retail box of the 64GB model have been published by a well-known insider OnLeaks on Twitter. If legitimate, the images prove that the next-generation iPhone will indeed feature new antenna bands together with a slightly larger protruding camera.
New iPhone SE and iPad Pro Have 2GB of RAM
According to an image shared on the Internet by Matthew Panzarino of TechCrunch, both 4-inch iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro feature 2GB of RAM. The reporter used an application called Smart Memory Lite to determine the amount of RAM installed in these devices.
As shown on the photo below, the handset has 2.0GB of memory, while the tablet boasts of only 1.9GB. Not very impressive specs, to be honest.

The drawings prove that in terms of design the handset will be similar to the iPhone 5s. The only noticeable difference is the Sleep/Wake button that has been moved to the right side of the device. Sources claim that the edges of the iPhone 5se will be more similar to the edges of the iPhone 6, however, that’s not very conspicuous. The most important thing is that the iPhone 5s cases should fit the newer model, even though they will make it nearly impossible to use the side Sleep/Wake button.
iPhone 5SE and iPad Air 3 to Go on Sale on March 18th
According to the latest report from people familiar with the matter, Apple will start selling the iPhone 5SE as well as the new iPad Air 3 on Friday, March 18th, three days after the dedicated media event. Sources indicate that there will be no pre-orders for the devices, the company will reportedly have them all in stock for the launch. Customers will get an opportunity to purchase new gadgets either online or from physical stores.
