Samsung Working on iPad Pro Rival - Rumor

Several new images showing diagrams of the iPhone 6s logic board have recently appeared on the Internet. According to these diagrams, the logic board of the upcoming iPhone will feature a new SiP (System-in-Package) design. This design will combine several chips in one larger chip. In particular, the power management and the baseband chips will be embedded into the A9 CPU.

Apple Releases New iPod touch with A8 Processor Inside, Refreshed iPod shuffle and iPod nano



Just as we expected, Apple on Wednesday released a brand new iPod touch and refreshed the entire lineup of iPods with new colors. The updated iPod touch can boast of the 64-bit A8 processor and M8 motion coprocessor, 4-inch display, 8-megapixel camera. As to the memory capacity, it is equal to 16GB, 32GB, 64GB or 128GB. The price depends on the capacity of the gadget and starts from $199 for the lower-end 16GB portable player and ends with $399 for the 128GB model.

A new drone flyover video showing the progress at the construction site of Apple's "spaceship" Campus 2 has recently appeared on the Internet. This time its a high-quality 4K clip, shot by a YouTube user nicknamed Myithz. According to the latest reports from people familiar with the matter, Apple has become top smartphone vendor in Taiwan in November. The guys from Cupertino managed to beat other vendors, which included HTC, Samsung, Sony and ZenFone in terms of not only sales volume, but also in terms of sales value. In the first case, the market share of Apple’s devices was 26.4% and in the second case it was even higher and accounted for 48.9%.

Apple officially announces iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3



 

Today Apple officially announced two new tablets - iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3.

iPad Air 2, teblet with 9.7" Retina 2048 x 1536 pixels display, is now 18 percent thinner than the first iPad Air (6.1 mm vs 7.5 mm), has brand new A8X processor that is 40 percent faster. iPad Air 2 is also lighter 437g vs 469g for Wifi model. It's also got a brand new camera out back: an 8MP iSight camera (f/2.4 aperture) that does 1080p video, burstmode, panorama shots, and auto HDR (that takes up a bit less space). iPad Air has Touch ID, the Home button-based security system that enables login via fingerprint. With Touch ID, iPad Air 2 also has Apple Pay, albeit enabled for online purchases only. Front-facing camera is also getting improved, and it's now known as the "Facetime HD" camera.
