PC and Mac Shipments Decline, Gartner Reporters Claim
According to the latest report from Gartner, worldwide PC shipments have declined by 9.5% in the second quarter of 2015. As noted by the analysts, this is the most noticeable decline since Q3 2013. PC vendors managed to sell 68.4 million computers in the past months.
If to speak about the Mac sales in the second quarter of this year, they saw a decline as well. The sales of Apple computers fell only by 2.5%. It should be pointed out, however, that this number represents only the sales results in the United States of America, where Apple products are incredibly popular among the customers. According to the latest report from Strategy Analytics, the long-awaited Apple Watch may see the record-breaking sales this year. The analysts believe Apple’s sales will beat the sales of its rivals from Samsung, LG and other vendors combined.
