Mail Progress is a new mod for iPhone. It will allow you to change the color of the bar indicating the sending of an email message. The application works through WinterBoard and offers the following color changes: Yellow, Sky Blue, Red, Purple, Orange, Green, Cool Grey, Black.

Mail Progress email is available in Cydia, category "Themes", ModMyi repository. By the way, it is and is compatible with firmware 3.0.

QuickShottr allows you to automatically upload the screenshots made on iPhone / iPod on ImageShack site.

As you know, both Apple devices can create a screenshot ("pictures" of the screen). User just need to clicking the same time Home + Power buttins. QuickShottr will automatically upload screenshots to ImageShack (in background) and will copy the link to the clipboard.

So if you want to share a picture with someone just call the copy/paste and click "Paste." You can QuickShottr in any application, f.e. in instant messaging that does not support sending and receiving images. This functionality is also very useful for bloggers or those who must quickly send images.

Current version is 1.1, it has been improved a lot since 1.0. There is also a SBSettings toggle called QuickShottr Toggle, that will allow to activate and deactivate this QuickShottr functionality through a simple click.

QuickShottr can be found in Cydia via the BigBoss repository.

Navigon has just released free version of their navigation application. Navigon MobileNavigator Lite includes the same range of functions as the full version, although no active route guidance with GPS support is available. In other words you have the maps and you can just browse without Turn-by-turn directions.

In US AppStore we were able to find and download Navigon MobileNavigator Lite North America. There are many different other apps in different AppStores. For example there is MobileNavigator British Isles in UK AppStore. Unfortunately there is no free Europe in one app.

Who still has not tested the Navigon can do it now. Good download.

Redsn0w, jailbreak tool from DevTeam, is updated to version 0.8. This is for firmware 3.0 and now it supports:

• iPhone 2G - jailbreak and unlock
• iPhone 3G - jailbreak, use ultrasn0w for unlock
• iPod Touch - jailbreak
• iPod Touch 2G - jailbreak
• iPod Touch 3GS - jailbreak, use ultrasn0w (version 0.8 and higher) for unlock

You should use it instead of purplera1n tool to jailbreak and activate iPhones and iPods.

PwnageTool, the program to unlock and jailbreak iPhone 2G and 3G and jailbreak for the iPod Touch developed by DevTeam, was recently updated to version 3.01. This is a technical update:

• resolves compatibility issues related to PPC (Mac OS X)
• adds Icy

You can download the new version of PwnageTool from here. This update is not for 3.1 firmware and is not for iPhone 3GS, it will not unlock your iPhone 3G - use redsn0w, purplera1n and other tools.

Geohot released a beta software for iPhone 3GS jailbreak called PurpleRa1n. It is beta and has some issues, but it gets the job done if you’re patient.

Requirements: You must have
1) Windows xp sp2, Vista, Windows 7, MAC OS
2) iTunes 8.2.0.23
3) Purplera1n software

The jailbreak is a bit incomplete. The kernel vm_mem patch is not present so Winterboard will not work as some other critical tweaks. (SBSettings does work!).

Use with caution and be patient. If you're not in a hurry, wait for the release from DevTeam.

There is a small tweak available in Cydia that likely will be relevant to all left-handed users. It is called "Slide To The Left" and does nothing more than change the direction of the slide. To download it you must add the repository PwnCenter: http://apt.pwncenter.com/ Use Winterboard to activate or deactivate the tweak.

Skype, the application for iPhone and iPod Touch through which you can call and chat for free with your Skype contacts, has been updated to version 1.1. This is an update adds some small improvements and bug fixes.

What's new in version 1.1

• Support for the following languages: English, German, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Portuguese, Spanish, Norwegian, Russian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Italian, French, Polish and Japanese.
• Send text (SMS) messages using Skype credit.
• Voicemail support.
• Improved dialing help when calling phones.

Skype is avaliable in AppStore for free (link).

Action Babes is a new app, that should be approved by Apple soon. Two girls will be ready to execute your commands.

There are 42 "commedy scenes" hidden inside the application. The developers have created two versions: one very soft and another slightly hot.

Here is a demo of new version of app Stack that supports firmware 3.0. You can download it here and install it manually or wait a bit and install via Cydia.

This is the first iPhone application to contain bare boobs. The $1.99 app for iPhone and iPod touch only showed girls in lingerie and bikinis until now.

This is not just an application that downloads softcore content from the Web, bypassing Apple's censorship. There is no censorship here, as this is truly an Apple approved app "rated 17+" for "frequent/intense sexual content or nudity" and "frequent/intense mature/suggestive theme."

According to developers: "We uploaded nude topless pics today. This is the first app to have nudity".

The app is avaliable via AppStore (link) for $1.99.

Apple announced today that the company has sold over 1 million iPhone 3G S models over this past weekend. The press release notably includes a quote from Steve Jobs:

"Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning," said Steve Jobs, Apple's CEO. "With over 50,000 applications available from Apple's revolutionary App Store, iPhone momentum is stronger than ever."

The sales figures match those of last year's iPhone 3G launch weekend sales numbers. Apple also reports that six million customers have downloaded the new iPhone 3.0 software which works on the existing 40 million iPhone and iPod touch models.
