Apple Seeds iOS 10.3.2 Beta 4 and macOS Sierra 10.12.5 Beta 4 to Developers





Apple has released iOS 10.3.2 Beta 4 and macOS Sierra 10.12.5 Beta 4 to developers for testing. The updates contain bug fixes and security improvements. No details about new features have surfaced so far.

The fourth beta of iOS 10.3.2 has a build number 14F5086a and features enhancements for Siri and third-party VPN services compatibility. There are no other noticeable changes.

macOS Sierra 10.12.5 Beta 4 is a minor update with a build number 16F67a. According to Apple, the update improves the stability, compatibility, and security of macOS and compatible computers.

If you have a developer account, you can download and test the latest software right now. Back up your devices before installing  iOS 10.3.2 Beta 4 and macOS Sierra 10.12.5 Beta 4.

Apple Stops Signing iOS 10.2.1 and iOS 10.3



Apple has stopped signing iOS 10.2.1 and iOS 10.3, which means restores and downgrades to these versions are no longer possible. Be careful if you want to stay on one of these firmware builds. If you update your device accidentally, you won’t be able to restore it to anything apart from iOS 10.3.1 or iOS 10.3.2 beta if you’re a developer or public beta tester.

iOS 11 Won’t Support Any 32-bit Apps



According to the latest rumor shared by a developer Steven Troughton-Smith, Apple will stop supporting 32-bit apps with the release of iOS 11. What this means is that old applications may stop function and not only lack updates and important bug fixes. The developer didn’t specify the source he got the information from, but this is not the first time iOS 11 we hear that Apple may drop support for legacy apps.

Apple Releases iOS 10.3.1 with Support for 32-bit Devices



Apple has released iOS 10.3.1 that supports the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c and other older 32-bit devices. iOS 10.3 that was released to public last week and iOS 10.3.2 beta seeded to developers a couple of days ago both do not support 32-bit devices.

One day after releasing final versions of iOS 10.3 and macOS Sierra 10.12.4 to users worldwide, Apple has seeded first betas of iOS 10.3.2 and macOS Sierra 10.12.5 to developers for testing. Both updates contain some bug fixes and minor improvements that make the software more stable. Currently, it’s unknown why Apple has skipped iOS 10.2.1.

Developer Teases Untethered iOS 10.3 Jailbreak



A developer nicknamed 0xnever has announced on Twitter that he will soon release an untethered jailbreak of iOS 10.3, which is currently being tested by developers and public testers. According to the hacker, his tool will turn the semi-tethered Yalu jailbreak into a fully untethered with just one tap. Looks like there are many vulnerabilities in the latest iOS version that can be used to hack it.

Apple Seeds Seventh iOS 10.3 Beta to Developers and Public Testers



Apple has released the seventh beta of iOS 10.3 to developers and public testers. The release took place just three days after the release of the previous beta. This is rather strange as typically Apple seeds new builds once a week. Such an early release of the seventh beta may mean that Apple has found a serious security issue affecting the firmware and decided to fix it as soon as possible.
