Third-party iPhone Screen Repairs Don’t Void Warranty Now
Apple has recently changed its iPhone warranty policy. From now on, third-party screen repairs do not void the warranty. As noted in the internal memo shared with retail employees, if the phone passes the fraud or tampering inspection, the company should proceed with the repair as in a normal case. If the third-party screen repair didn’t cause any damage to the phone, Apple will repair the phone under warranty, free of cost.

Yesterday, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Apple’s main rival, Samsung, announced the Unpacked media event scheduled for March 29th, where the company will unveil the long-awaited Galaxy S8. The South Korean manufacturer also shared several ads to reassure customers that all phones pass numerous security checks and tests before they are released. This is a step aimed at making people believe that the Galaxy Note 7 disaster won’t happen with new models.
As for the Galaxy S8, it will get a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, an iris scanner, and a number of other new features.

Warning: New Malware Attacks Mac Users
A new piece of malicious software for Mac computers called Xagent has been recently found by the Bitdefender security experts. It is a modular backdoor that penetrates into the system and can steal browser passwords, take desktop screenshots, and even steal iPhone backups stored on the computer. The malware was reportedly created by a group of hackers called APT28.
