iOS and Mac OS X Won't Merge into One Operating System

Foxconn to Build Manufacturing Facility in the United States



Apple’s main supplier - Foxconn (or Hon Hai) - is said to be planning to build a manufacturing facility in the United States. The would-be factory will produce LCD-panels for Apple’s gadgets, Chairman Terry Gou claims.

Ming-Chi Kuo's Predictions Concerning iPhone's Rival - Galaxy S5



Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities has recently published a report claiming that Samsung will embed a fingerprint sensor and a 32-bit processor into its Galaxy S5. The analyst thinks that the South Korean company needs a some kind of biometric verification system in order to keep up with Apple’s iPhone 5s and iPhone 6. And he’s right.

MegaFon Signs a Deal with Apple to Sell iPhones in Russia



According to the latest rumors, one of the Russia’s largest carriers, MegaFon, has signed a three-year contract with Apple. What that means is that MegaFon will soon start selling iPhones in its retail stores all over the country making the handsets available for as many as 143 million people.

Apple to Start Working on Its Own Payment Service?



According to recent rumors, the company from Cupertino is currently planning to develop its own mobile payment service. Apple Releases OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Beta 3 to Developers



Apple has released OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 beta 3 to developers for testing. As to the improvements, this version looks pretty much the same as the one released about a week ago. Apple asks developers to focus on SMB2, Mail, Messages, Graphics Drivers, VoiceOver, and VPN.

Apple Finalizes iPhone 6 Design - Rumor



Looks like Apple has finally finalized the design of its iPhone 6 that is expected to be released this year. It will get a 4.8-inch display and 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity. At least this is what one of the Wall Street experts claims. I must say that such predictions seem to be quite plausible.

iPhone 5s Users Seem to be ‘Hungriest’ Data Consumers



According to the study that was recently conducted by a research firm JDSU, iPhone 5s users seem to be the ‘hungriest’ data consumers if compared to owners of nearly 150 other devices in both developed and developing markets across the world. This is a huge improvement, especially if to compare the amount of data downloaded by iPhone 5, 5s and 5c owners to the results of iPhone 3G several years ago.
