Today we will try to find out how modern high-tech headset must look like and sound like. Our lab received Creative Sound Blaster Evo Zx couple weeks ago.

The box has the headset, small travel pouch, Micro USB-to-USB cable for charging, 4-pole analog cable and a quick start guide. Manufacturer site positions this device as gaming headset. While SB Evo Zx indeed is great for gamers, we strongly recommend music fans to take a look at this nice headset.

Apple Filed Two Patent Applications This Week



The company from Cupertino filed two new patent applications this week. According to iDownloadBlog, the first one deals with a new technology that could let the smartphone detect your cardiac signal. The second one describes a special display capable of detecting touches even when a user’s finger is not in contact with the screen surface.

Evad3rs Receive $1 Million from Chinese Company



A Chinese company reportedly paid evad3rs $1 million to install its third-party mobile application - Taig store. This app replaced Cydia on devices with default language set to Chinese. The company from Cupertino was granted a patent No. 8,600,120 for "Personal computing device control using face detection and recognition" on Tuesday. In other words, it’s a technology that allows your iPhone or iPad to recognize you among other people. Such a system can possibly take mobile security to the next level.

Apple Purchased Israeli Firm PrimeSense for $360



Apple spokeswoman Kristin Huguet on Sunday confirmed that the company from Cupertino has purchased an Israeli firm called PrimeSense. This sum of acquisition is $360 million and this is probably the only thing we know for sure.
