Spotify App is Updated With a New Way to Browse Music and Other Features



Spotify app for iOS was updated with a bunch of new features, namely, a new way to browse music, new languages (Thai, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese, Malay and Greek) and bug fixes. As usual, you may either listen to music for free or upgrade to Spotify Premium and get unlimited access to the Spotify library. Plants vs Zombies 2 gets 25 million downloads



On August 16 PopCap introduced the highly awaited Plants vs Zombies sequel.  Ten days ago it reached the level of sixteen million downloads. Today it was announced that the game was downloaded twenty-five million times. It means that nearly a million copies were downloaded every day.

It is also stated that the number of Plants vs. Zombies 2 downloads is bigger that the total number of  the original Plants vs. Zombies game.

In fact the two games can hardly be compared, as he original one is a paid-app, while the sequel can be downloaded for free from AppStore. The number of Plants vs Zombies 2 downloads is certain to grow once the game is released for Windows 8, Windows Phone 8 and Android platforms, which is expected to happen later this year or next one.

iPhone 5S and 5C to launch in China on November 28



First Financial Daily reports that the launch of iPhone 5S and 5C in China will take place on November 28. It is two months after the initial launch that will happen on Friday, September 20.

The launch is that delayed  due to verification procedures required by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Apple faced the same problem with launch of the iPhone 5.

Apple Has Released Safari 6.1 Seed 6 for Developers



Apple has released Safari 6.1 Seed 6 for developers. It is compatible with OS X Lion and Mountain Lion and requires Security Update 2013-002. Here’s what the company from Cupertino says about the new beta-version:

This pre-release version of Safari includes WebKit enhancements for better text, layout, and accessibility support. It also includes a redesigned Web Inspector with a streamlined toolbar, a new Activity Viewer, and other great tools for building and debugging your website. Google+ iOS App Updated with New Features



Google+ app for iOS was updated yesterday with the Hangouts and Google Drive support and some other useful features. Now it is much easier to communicate with friends, store, edit and share photos and access your account. The full list of improvements looks as follows:

  • View, edit, and share photos stored in Google Drive
  • Google Apps domain support: restrict posts to the domain, domain icons to identify members
  • Hangouts app replaces Messenger for messaging and video calls. Visit Google Takeout to download your Messenger data.

The version 4.5.0 is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. It requires iOS 6.0 or later.

One can get this no doubt useful app from the App Store for free.
