White iPhones Won't Be Available Until Mid July
According to Apple’s official statement, you won’t get any white iPhones until the second half of July as they have proven more difficult to make than it was expected. The availability of the black models, which are found to be more popular, will not be affected.
Strange as it might seem, producing white equipment is indeed more challenging than the black one. The reason for it is the fact that making the black back of the glass requires an electroplating process, which creates a smooth look. Consequently, to make the back of the glass white you have to paint the case, which makes it quite challenging to create a smooth opaque surface. If the paint goes on too thick, it could be rather difficult to glue the glass on, as the glue might stick to the paint and it’s possible that in the course of time the paint will peel off the glass.
Some iPhones may be delivered earlier
On Friday Apple started marking orders for iPhone 4 as "prepared for shipment", but some customers have already received new shipment notifications from the company.
Most of the reports indicate June 24 as a delivery date (as it is seen on the screenshot above), but numerous source reveal there are also some notifications that state a ship by date of June 23.
Apple can request shippers to deliver the items exactly on the launch date, but there were cases when people who ordered an iPad also received it the day or two before the official launch date.
It is also revealed that new iPhones are shipping from Lantau Island, Hong Kong.

- Over 2,100 titles in the Apple's App Store are iPad games;
- 78% of all iPad apps are paid (which is almost equal to 80% value of previous Moblix report);
- Almost 75% of all 225,000 iPhone apps are also paid;
- 2,5 months needed for iPad apps library to reach the 10,000 milestone (For comparison, it took five months for iPhone apps and 11 months for Google's Android Market to get the same result).
- Currently iPad apps store is the third biggest after iPhone and official Android apps store.
- RIM's BlackBerry App World, Nokia's Symbian platform and HP's Palm/webOS have less than 7,000 apps.
It is important to note that Google currently forbids putting Android Market on non-smartphone devices, so there is no opportunity to compare the actual numbers of Android and iPad apps.

AT&T servers had been hacked
A group of hackers found a security flaw on the web servers of AT&T and after obtaining users’ 3G iPad SIM addresses (also known as ICC ID) from the web made an automated script attack to receive their email addresses.
According to Gawker report, now hacked users may "be vulnerable to spam marketing and malicious hacking". SIM addresses are easy enough to obtain, because many people have already posted their ICC ID numbers in photos published on Flickr for instance. But most of them have their e-mails published too, so it is likely that they have already received such spam.
