As you might know hacker Comex has found a new PDF vulnerability and released JailBreakMe tool that uses it. These were great news. The bad ones is that your iPhone and iPad and iPod Touch is at risk. Bad guys can use the same vulnerability to take control of your device and do whatever they want with it.
Apple will fix it in iOS 4.3.4 firmware some day. Fortunately Comex has already released a patch for his JailbreakMe 3.0 exploit to protect already jailbroken devices from any malicious use of the exploit.
The package called 'PDF Patcher 2' can be downloaded and installed from Cydia. To jailbreak please use our step-by-step instructions.
This year Amazon released its Cloud Player and Cloud Drive services that allow users to store music and other media data on Amazon’s servers and access them from different devices connected to the Internet. Apple is expected to post its official financial results for the third quarter 2011 on July 19, but now we may hear different prediction. One of them has been made by the non-Wall Street Apple analysts at the Apple Finance Board. They believe that Apple has sold more than 8 million iPads and 17 million iPhones in the third fiscal quarter of 2011. Wall Street’s analytics claim “the company earned $5.69 per share on sales of $24.67 billion”. The Finance Board predicts that Apple will post revenue of $26.5 billion.
The June quarter represents the first fiscal quarter in which Apple iPad sales are a factor in the prior-year performance. This factor alone will have an impact on year-over-year revenue growth. iPad unit sales and the resulting revenue were not a factor in the prior-year financial performance comparisons in the December (FQ1) and March (FQ2) quarters.
In Q2 2011 Apple’s revenue was $24.67 billion. The company sold 4.69 million iPads, 18.65 million iPhones and 3.76 million Macs.
Comex's jailbreak based on new PDF exploit was unofficially leaked recently. It looks like it will be released quite soon. Currently
The new jailbreak is mostly for Apple iPad 2 users, because all other devices can be jailbroken with existing tools.
Comex's jailbreak for the iPad 2 has been stolen from secret website and later published on different sites. The jailbreak uses a PDF exploit similar to how JailbreakMe worked in the past.
User AppReviewerWill even posted a video showing working iPad 2 jailbreak on iOS 4.3. The video is currently unavailable.
This is quite sad, because now Apple is aware of the vulnerability and will probably release the fixed iOS 4.3.4. If now this will be fixed in iOS 5 for sure.
We strongly suggest that you wait for official release by Comex. Now you should just save your SHSH blobs using
DigiTimes reports that iPhone 5 и iPad 3 components suppliers are preparing materials for production of the rumoured devices expected to debut in September and to be launched officially in October.
DigiTimes sources claim that production of the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 will begin in August. They predict that in third quarter 6-7 million units of the iPhone 5 will be produced.
Upstream component makers including Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry), which is in charge of assembling the devices; Simplo Technologies and Dynapack International Technology, in charge of manufacturing batteries; TPK Holding and Wintek, in charge of touch panel modules; Catcher, in charge of chassis; and Largan Precision, in charge of webcams, are all expected to benefit from the orders.

DigiTimes reports that Apple is planning to increase significantly the iPad 2 shipments for the third quarter of this year. The company is going to ship about 12-14 million devices over that period. These numbers are obviously larger than the 7-9 million units reportedly shipped during the previous quarter.
In order to significantly increase its shipments in the third quarter, Apple has been piling up its inventory of iPad 2 components such as panels in the second quarter to minimize the risk of facing component shortages.
Now it is quite difficult to forecast the iPad’s shipments due to production constraints and the transition from the original iPad to the iPad 2. Moreover, Apple didn’t come up with forecasts of some analysts suggesting that Apple's total 2011 iPad could reach 40 million units and sold in the first quarter only 4.69 million units, though, these numbers include a few initial weeks of official iPad 2 sales.
On May 27 the iPhone 4 was officially put on the market of India with the price starting at 34,500 Indian rupees (around $760) for version of 16 GB with a two-year service agreement. But the price for iPhone as high as $760 (which the government is not satisfied with) makes the iconic item out of reach for the 41.6 percent of the India’s population that lives below the poverty line of $1.25 a day.

The recently unveiled iCloud service, which will help to share content between different devices, is seen by a leading analyst as even better evidence that Apple is readying to release a high-definition TV set in late 2012.
On Thursday Gene Munster with Piper Jaffray repeated his long-time stance that Apple is developing its own full-blown television set, instead of just set-top box like the Apple TV.
