Analyst Mink-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities today reported that Apple is planning to release “all-new” iPod nano and iPod touch in September. The upgraded iPod touch is said to have the new touch display based on in-cell technology that has been rumored by multiple sources for the next iPhone 5.
13-Inch Retina MacBook Pro and Updated iMacs Reportedly Due in September-October
Ming-Chi Kuo, KGI Securities analyst, has released a new report where he expressed his estimates of the Apple's product launch schedule for the second half of this year. In his report Kuo claims that Apple will launch its 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro in the September - October timeframe. However, he predicts that early sales of the notebook might be modest, but with Retina displays Apple’s laptops will hit the market in 2013.

Instapaper developer Marco Arment heard from multiply sources that Apple doesn’t plan to release a Retina display-equipped iMac model in 2012, instead the company prefers to wait until 2013. Sources suggest that the company won’t introduce the high-resolution all-in-ones, until it brings the Retina Display to more of Apple’s computers.

Foxconn Accelerating LCD Panels Orders To Launch Apple TV Set For Holiday Season
In a new research note, Brian White, Topeka Capital Markets’s analyst, points to a report from Chinese site 21cbh.com saying that Foxconn/Hon Hai planned to order LCD television panels from Sharp in 3Q 2012 instead of the 4Q 2012, which fuels speculation that the panels are intended for a forthcoming Apple TV set that could be launched for holiday shopping season. Earlier this year Sharp and Foxconn a partnership to develop LCD technology and observers have considered this step to be closely related to Apple TV set.
