It's Sunday today, which means I should tell you about the most interesting posts of past seven days. Let's begin.
As you probably know, Apple is expected to release its next-gen iPhone later this year. Ahead of the purported launch, more and more mockups and alleged schematics appear on the Internet. They look pretty much the same, however, each one has a unique or worth mentioning feature. That's why I try to describe each mockup thoroughly.
iPhone Tops South Korean Customer Satisfaction Rankings
A research firm called Marketing Insight has recently conducted a customer satisfaction survey among the South Korean smartphone users.
Both Apple and Samsung are Found Guilty of Patent Infringements
Samsung infringed on Apple's patents. This is what the jury found out during the Apple vs Samsung trial. What is interesting, though, is that Apple was also accused of violating Samsung's patent for "Apparatus for recording and reproducing digital image and speech", so now it has to pay the South Korean manufacturer $158.400.

If to speak about popular articles, they deal mostly with the iPhone and the iWatch. In particular, over the past few days a couple of physical mockups have appeared on the Internet that show how Apple's next-gen handset might look like. Nearly all of the mockups are based on the leaked schematics and renderings, that is why they look a bit similar.
iPhone 6 Physical Mockup Compared to Samsung Galaxy S5 - Images
A couple of days ago, another iPhone 6 physical mockup appeared on the Italian website Macitynet. Below you may take a look at the images showing this device compared to Samsung's Galaxy S5.
The handset manufactured by the Korean company has a 5.1-inch display and a thickness of 8.1mm. These characteristics make the smartphone larger and thicker than the iPhone 6 mockup.

Samsung's Ready to Pay Apple $38.4 Million in Damages
As I already told you, Samsung thinks Apple has exaggerated the worth of its patents. In the ongoing trial on Monday, Samsung's damage expert Judith Chevalier said the South Korean manufacturer should pay only $38.4 million for the five allegedly infringed patents, not $2.19 billion Apple is seeking.

Apple has explained why it is seeking $2.19 billion in damages from Samsung. Such sum is based on Apple's lost profits and royalties on infringed patents, Apple damage expert and economist Chris Vellturo claims.
Samsung Sues Newspaper Called Electronic Times for $284.000
Apple's mail rival - Samsung - has sued a newspaper called Electronic Times for 300 million KRW (this is about $284,000) over the article about the company's latest flagship Galaxy S5. The authors of the publication claim the smartphone has a faulty camera, which is incorrect, Samsung believes.
