New Office For Maс To Arrive Next Spring, Office For iOS Will Not Launch Until Fall 2014



ZDNet has shared a roadmap received from a source who says it is a timetable for Microsoft’s plans for iOS and Mac versions of Office.

According to the roadmap, a new version of Microsoft Office for Mac will be released in April next year, while the long rumored Office for Android and iOS will arrive in October 2014.

Apple Will Begin Volume Production Of iPad 5 In July-August



According to a report from DigiTimes, Apple will begin volume production of the iPad 5 in July-August of this year. The information on timeframe reportedly comes from sources in supply chain makers in Taiwan.

The information on a July-August ramp up of iPad 5 production contradicts many earlier rumors that had suggested the next iPad release as yearly as April.

Apple Has Shifted Orders For A7 Chips To TSMC?



As Taiwan’s Economic Daily News reports, "high-ranking officials" at Samsung has revealed that the company has not yet received orders for an A7 chip that is expected to be used in the iPhone 6. The fact is reportedly causing speculation at Samsung that Apple has decided to shift its orders for the A7 processor to Taiwan Semiconductor Company (TSMC).

P0sixninja will hold back his jailbreak exploits for iOS 7



P0sixninja has revealed that he will not be using his jailbreak exploits to release iOS 6.1.3 jailbreak. He plans to hold them back for iOS 7 or iOS 7.1.

Recently the hacker tweeted that the 'the next jailbreak might be created entirely by me' saying that he had discovered several exploits needed for the new jailbreak.

In an interview to iDesignTimes p0sixninja commented that he will definitely not release jailbreak for iOS 6.x.

Apple Stores Are Pushing New Table-Based Customer Service Strategy



Apple is gradually rolling out a new customer service initiative called ‘table selling’ across its retail stores. With the new strategy, employees at Apple Stores are assigned a product table at which they are responsible for serving groups of customers with the same device but different needs. Previously, employees helped each customer individually on a first-come, first-serve basis which often resulted in lengthy wait times.

Apple Plans To Triple Its Reseller Network In India By 2015



According to a report from The Economic Times, Apple plans to triple the size of its reseller network to 200 stores in India by 2015. Apple is being examined over anticompetive behavior



The New York Times reports that European Union regulators have a deep interest in the contracts between Apple and iPhone vendor partners in order to identify the anti-competitive behavior of the company.
